D1 pointed me at Jonsi & Alex, which I must say is absolutely superb ambience...
Love it.

Jay-Z - Blueprint 3 came out on Monday, it's on Spotify.
Now, I've never been a big fan of his, but it sounds awful, arrogant and totally disjointed as an album.
Utter rubbish.

You probably should name 'em to be fair, for safety towards other women on here or something

As the late great Keith Floyd said in my favourite of his dance movies, "Nobody puts brandy in a korma!"
Dunno why the big surprise about Kanye West losing it. When you think about what his dad Fred got up to...
David Schneider (of Armando Iannucci fame)

The new Jay-Z album, and it's reinforced my view that he is UTTER SHITE.

I've been listening to both tonight, absolutely classic albums from years gone by, both ground breaking at the time, both sounding fairly fresh now (both available on Spotify)
If you had to pick one, and banish one for the rest of time which would you go for?
You'd have to live with the consequences of the said album never existing though, all those that have been influenced since will not ever have existed...
Difficult.

Rodrigo y Gabriela - Master Maqui
From their new album, '11:11', which is on first listen.
I stumbled on the above mentioned by mistake on Spotify the other week, absolutely class, I love all that crazy flamenco/latin guitar twanging sound.

I disagree and I'm 21. Owning music means a lot more than just listening to it.
Yes, but you have more of a interest in music than your average punter, showed by your taste and your interest in anything other than bland.
Pop music lovers won't be interested in hard copys, junglists and other alternative fans tend to be more hardcore.
BTW, iPhone app out today.

9, because of the little ray of sunshine that resides in Derby.
Frankly, I don't give a **** about anything else any more, I've seen everyone elses trauma and I can't be arsed with it.
No more aggro for me thanks.

It was marginally Theo ahead of Peter Jones before James Caan come in to RUN THINGS.
I'd rather not have Duncan working with me, he can stick his money up his arse.

The Godfather soundtrack for some reason.

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Make Me Smile
This song bothered me for 3 or 4 years of my life, I heard it on a TV programme and couldn't suss the name. It's now on the Spotify playlist (thanks to Bicks I think) and it's put me at ease now I know the name
Running

Sorry Mooney, did mean to do it last night but clean forgot...
Anyways, the benefits of having a running partner were amazingly apparent last night.
Having someone to gas with whilst running helped more than anything else I've ever known, before I'd realised we'd done 4k (albeit with a few walking sections, I'm not that fit yet).
D1 can run some for a bloke 12 years my senior I tell ya!
Good running though, nice run, gonna look at running shoes on payday, looking forward to proper footwear.
