They won't be in ANY trouble. Even if they did end up in the bottom 3, everyone above them would suddenly get points deductions to ensure they don't flush.

    'Tis written in the stars.

Indeed - I've given up hope they'll ever get relegated. I'll just have to enjoy their pointless existence scratching around in the lower half of the championship

Seems like Inter and Milan are going their separate ways, and both building new stadiums, rather than rebuilding San Siro together.

Milan are moving just a couple of miles away from San Siro, still pretty much within the city. Whereas Inter are apparently building a stadium in a town on the outskirts called Assago on the south west side of the city, about eight miles away from San Siro.

Can't imagine it's going to go down too well with Inter fans, as the plan Milan have got looks and sounds far better.

Inter fans from the shires mate. Those who drink in the city support Milan

Is Pulisic injured again at Chelsea? Haven't seen him involved there since the World cup.

That would be someone who'd fit well into Emery's system but assume he'd go to another CL club given Chelsea were about to unload Ziyech to PSG.

Chelsea will have some higher level unsettled players available come this summer. They can't play them all and some egos will be bruised by sitting on the bench, or not even making the squad.

Ziyech, Pulisic, Zakaria, RLC, Fofana (the striker), Madueke barely playing, even the most overrated footballer in history Mason Mount might be available.

If they sit on it for another couple of years there'll be the next TV deal / PL finally introduce their own streaming platform for much more and possibly the Super 6 League which will see the valuation jump up massively again.

Liverpool have peaked imo. Without state level money, or a crazy owner like todd boehley then they will go back to being about 5-8th most seasons. They got lucky with a really good manager and some really good recruitment (Salah, Mane, Firminho).

What's happened to the talk of redeveloping Elland Road? I presume that would hit the buffers if they got relegated.

Same with us. They weren't going to green light it until we were a stabilised PL club, so I'd expect them to hold fire until they are stabilised.

Their loyal world class fans is a myth. They were averaging 23/25k fans until Bielsa came in, so if they are relegated there's no point

  6. Reality is their players / recruitment just hasn't been good enough. They have only 1 player who'd get into our first team.

They had 2 x 30 million players playing against our kids last night, and they didn't look above this level at all.

  7. Best part of this deal for us, it to allow us to "bank" younger players from abroad who aren't yet eligible for a UK work permit.

Enzo Fernandez when leaving River Plate most likely wouldn't have been eligible for a UK Work Permit, but signed for Benfica no problem. We can expand our scouting network for higher potential players who aren't quite good enough for the PL, but could do a job mid table in Portugal and we snap them up if they excel.

    Perfect for us.

  8. Regardless of this weekend, I can't see us pushing for Europe. A top half finish is more than fine enough after where we were under Gerrard.

What is vital is that we are almost secure from any chance of relegation, so the planning for the summer will now already be in motion.

The 2nd was scored by the Premier leagues most expensive player.

The 3rd by the most wanted player in world football that really only 1 other club could potentially afford.

With 4 minutes left they brought on a £45 million player to see out time.

Problem with City is they've used their financial doping not just to improve their team beyond competition, but they have also took the soul out of other Premier League teams for "squad players".

Their 2nd goalscorer was a up and coming teams heart, soul, best player who left to be a cog in the city wheel.

The 45 million pound player who plays for just 4 minutes and in the occasional carabao cup game was Leeds United tallisman, captain and best player.

  10. Back to the footballing side of Greenwood. Im really concerned United haven't just paid him off, therefore clearly considering if they can re-integrate him.

He can't set foot on a premier league pitch again. Man U's sponsors will NOT want him wearing their brand (that's all man u care about btw), same for the Premier League.

They can't sack him because LEGALLY he hasn't done anything wrong to terminate his contract.

Pay him off, forget about him. He will end up in China or the Middle East.

What do you think is going to change to turn the current 20 point Labour poll leads into the sort of territory which would result in a hung parliament (5-7 point Labour leads)?

It's a poll. IIRC the majority thought the Corbyn election was going to be closer than it was which turned out to be a disaster for Labour.

Secondly, Farage hasn't appeared yet who will take a portion of the disillusioned Tories + quite a bit of the lower working class.

Good luck voting in the next election. Do you want to vote for a bunch of bastards who have spent a decade stamping on the country's face, or a bunch of bastards who stabbed their party in the heart because they didn't like it's leadership and have absolute disdain for anyone that was supportive of it, using the grimmest and grimiest allegations to salt the earth beneath them.

In the blue corner, a cavalcade of words removed. In the red corner, a cavalcade of words removed. Separated by a fag paper.

    Spoilt ballot it is.

Next election will be a hung parliament regardless. The winner will depend on who wants to deal with their devil.

Farage will almost certainly appear with a party who will promise to "stop the boats", wave British flags, stop grooming gangs etc, taking many of the disillusioned harder right Tories and some of the swing voters (particularly the working lower class).

Labour need to be centrist to win the next election with a majority, which means those more left leaning will move over to the Greens or even the dems.

Same, I think the US are pulling the strings  and are feathering the throttle to maintain a stalemate which long term **** Russia’s entire economy and military up.

USA get to feed their military machine and pay off their donors without dead American soldiers on TV or innocent middle eastern children being bombed by drones.

This is absolutely perfect for them.

Imagine if they got Gerrard, it would be hilarious.  Most of their threat seems to come from wide players like Gnonto, Harrison and Summerville.

Stevie would have those three straight on the scrap heap to accommodate his ultra narrow system.

Gerrard won 4 of his first 6 games with us. We were ironically in a very similar situation and he took us away from the relegation zone. In their current predicament they'll take that all day long and worry about the fact he can't coach or improve players in the summer.

Haaland getting none of the ball and wiping out Martinez - fair challenge not a foul

grealish putting his leg between ramsey’s running alongside him - clear foul

    they don’t even hide it

    Absolutely infuriated me.

Also the Dias tackle on Bailey. I guarantee if that was Konsa they'd be saying "excessive force", "scissor tackle" etc.

    Pushing and prodding of defences.

Read somewhere the majority of Radar wasn't looking for such heat signatures, speed or size therefore this has likely been happening for years whilst barely being noticed. Effectively China found a blackspot in the their coverage and probably been exploiting if for a while.

Now they've adjusted their coverage these will show up all the time. Horrendously embarrassing for the DoD.

See some clubs have already had their say

Can't say I'm surprised. It'll be dead in the water, at least here in England.

Clubs only care about money. They don't care about the fans or "the good of the game".

The Premier League is a ridiculous cash cow. If that wasn't the case (see La Liga / Serie A) then the PL clubs would be all over this.

The Premier League have proven legal recourse to eliminate them from the competition if they go to the Superleague. There's more money to be made from the PL, at the moment.
