  1. You know what I mean. No matter if android phones were free, never ran out of batteries, could grant wishes. Loads of people, mainly women would still want an iphone simply because it is an iphone.

Conversely, I bet there's a hell of a lot of people who just have Android phones because they're NOT iPhones. The people who have this hatred for Apple (not you by the way...necessarily) love having an android because it's the "enemy" of Apple at the moment.

Indeed. What we have here is an example of freedom of choice!

iPhones are very very very good smartphones. Some people who use Android seem to have forgotten this.

    This.

According to CV the iphone is useless for the internet. I read a review the other day doing a speedtest of the Galaxy s and IP4 and there was about a second difference in the load times.

I think I will go and kill myself now, how did I make such a fatal error?

  2. Is it here where I say my Android phone alarm works perfectly over the clocks changing? When I set it the night before the message saying "alarm will sound in X hours and Y minutes" took into account the clock change that hadnt even happened yet. Yay Android! :flag:

    Is your name Conor?

  3. Anyone else not wake up this morning ?

Although my alarms were set for 7am and 7:05 ..they didn't go off until 8am and 08:05

    rather weird

From what I have read it affects recurring alarms ie if you have an alarm that wakes you up at 6.00am every weekday then it will go off at 7.00am instead.

Deleting the alarm and then resetting it wont work either so it appears we have two options.

Set your alarm to go off an hour ealrier tahn you need it to so that it actually goes off on time or some people have had some success by setting individual alarms ie 6.00am on Monday, 6.0am on Tuesday etc through to Friday rather than use the repeat every weekday option.

    Poor from Apple really.

I had the same problem,it works with an individual alarm but will not work if you set it to week days.

It must be an issue with ios4 as I have never had problems before.

  4. 3gs

Brilliant! I'm sure that post really helped him.

Anyway, if you decide to go the apple route as others have said for that little bit extra you should go for the 4,better camera, faster processor and will have suppory for a couple more years yet etc..

  5. Not impressed at all with the new iphone. Poorly made device from a so called corporation that is supposed to be on the cutting edge. I have a MacBook, and find them much better to uise than Windows, and was happy with the 3GS, but the 4 is a poor phone

    1) Intermittent non-functioning vibrate - a known problem having looked at various forums - the motor gets stuck intermittently - I have missed calls due to this

    2) Dropped calls - yes the aerial is shit

    3) while on a call if the screen happens to touch your cheek it can put the caller on hold, or speakerphone.

And the design is clunky and not at all aesthetically appealing. Actually regretting getting this now.

    :(

I would get it swapped by Apple as you clearly have a dodgy phone, I and many others I know have not had a single problem.
