@Genieyou certainly can't at Tesco or the two completely unstaffed ones that I use. Can you use them to fill up an unspecified amount or do you literally have to pay first then get your fuel. I suspect if using contactless you have to specify the amount of fuel and pay for it before you get it. That's useless for me

I’m not sure, I tend to use my card in the reader but I have noticed the contactless option. I’ll test drive it next time and feed back.

Pretty sure you can't. Every pay at pump I've ever encountered pre-authorises a payment (usually £100) before you take any fuel. You firstly can't pre-authorise with a contactless payment and the petrol station aren't going to let you fill up without knowing your card details first

    I think you can

Asda is converting more of its superstore petrol forecourts to card-only, unmanned operations with staff being redeployed into its stores.

An Asda spokesperson said the changes were being made as more than nine in 10 payments made at superstore forecourts were made via card or contactless device.

Yes there is. The availability of contactless payment methods isn't ubiquitous

For example, you cant do a contactless payment at a pay at pump petrol station

I’m pretty sure you can at the ones here (Asda and Morrisons) but will double check next time I’m there.

  4. I’ve ordered a new, but slightly old phone.

I had a brief return into the Android market with the Google Pixel 8 and didn’t get on with it. Great phone, just not for me.

Looking for a newer higher spec than my current iPhone 12 I learned that in many people’s views the 13 Pro was the peak, and that the 14 and 15 barely bring anything new despite its being more expensive.

I’ve ordered a Grade A, opened box but unused 13 pro from a reputable seller (cheapest_electrical) on eBay and it’ll arrive later today. I’m looking forward to getting it all set up.

I see the BBC have started asking you if you want Tweets displayed on the page and suggesting you read Twitter's privacy policy before you accept

I wonder if other news sites will follow? It could play a small part in reducing Twitters reach if people choose not to

Most sites will show the tweet, but then also write out what the tweet said below it. No need for both really.
