Im so sick of Lerner and the players' ability being blamed. As I keep saying, Bournemouth are a team filled with Championship players, their best player hasnt played since August and Mings also has been out for the entire season. Yet they are comfortably safe.

Is Lerner faultless? Absolutely not. But for whatever reason, the managers cannot get these misfits playing well. At the start of the season there was no-one who thought Bmouth had a better squad than us.

Summary - We're relegated because of the owner or because the players are not good enough = Bullshit and a kop out.

Eh? The squad is weak as piss, none of them are good enough for the Premier League.

How can you not get that? Are you saying if the player's put some effort in we would be safe. If the forwards can't score enough and defender's can't defend then no amount of effort is going to change that.

In my opinion Bournemouth have a far better balanced squad than we do hence why they are staying up while we go down.

Of all the people at VP Lerner is most to blame but obviously you think otherwise which again I find puzzling, if the owner desides to take a club trying to get in the CL to a club fighting relegation then I'm pretty sure that he should shoulder the blame.

If you are trolling then don't reply as I'm really not interested.

  2. RG comes across as a decent person however he's a bloody useless manager.

Yes he has an awful squad but watching him during a game he just looks lost.

I don't blame him at all though for what has happened but neither will I miss him when he's sacked at the end of the season.

  3. Farrrk 1 change? Are you kidding Garde?

We accept that losing games is inevitable but not in the manner of the Liverpool loss which was absolutely pathetic.

These tossers will once again let the club down and because you don't have the balls to try something different you too can do one at the end of this sorry season, I can't stand weak rocket polishers who say one thing and then don't have the guts to carry it thru.

Regardless of the league we're in, we need a Goalkeeper, a centreback, a central midfielder and a striker.

We need an entire spine. I still think we have a decent skeleton of a team, but the biggest thing we're missing are those key players in each area to mould everything together.

The league we're in will merely determine the quality of player we can get. The areas that need addressing won't change, imo.

Steve do you honestly think that any of the "decent" (I'm struggling to think of any personally) will want to play for less money in a lower league?

And that any of this current squad (bar maybe Hutton who is just a bloody useless footballer) will have the fight in them to stand up for the club?

I know it won't happen but I'd look to sell the lot and start over. I just don't believe in any of these players.

If we end up with the majority of the same player's then imho we will go down again.

  5. Honestly I don't rate him much, very quick but no idea of what he's doing. His awareness of the game makes Gabby look like a 'clever' player.

Add to that he's always injured, maybe he was worth the gamble but like the rest just not good enough.

based on the number of us that walked out long before the 74th minute vs liverpool, it wont be an issue

Ahh but that was adhoc, this if it happens could result in 1,000's trying to get out at the same time without the normal way at the end of the game....at least they might get to watch the finish on the screens.

I applaud those who are willing to at least give it a go, if it does get a lot of support (my guess is it will depend on the score and quality of game..2-2 at the time might keep fans seated) the the least it will do is get the media asking questions.

  7. I'm almost at the point of "resigning" myself as I'm disgusted by what has and is happening to Aston Villa. The only reason I haven't yet is because I'm not fickle and my support has never been about glory hunting.

I used to love watching player's really play like they gave a shit but honestly I dislike every current player, I can't think of one of them that is worthy of our support or is fit to wear C&B.

The owner couldn't care less, the board is full of people who aren't difficult to dislike.

The whole place is toxic and I'm not sure how much longer I can keep following the club who I've loved since 1st stepping into VP in the late 60's as a kid, this isn't just about results I can accept that you win some you lose some and although it says Villa Park it's not home to the club I love anymore.

  8. I read that Remi said he will find 11 player's who will at least try.

Well that rules out every starter v Liverpool so it's got to be the under 21 team.

I have never seen a team so lacking in skill and desire as this current lot, I wouldn't keep anyone next season not a single one of them.

For the rest of this embarrassing season all I can hope for is no more humiliating scorelines.....although I have no doubt that there are more to come.

  9. The Liverpool game feels like the Forest away 6-0 when we were on our way down last time. It completely knocked the confidence of everyone and even with a change of management we were done.

If it wasn't for SGT we would have gone down again, looking at this lot I think we'll be fighting relegation again next year.

I honestly don't think we have any player's on the books good enough, all over the pitch we have 2nd rate player's and not one of them has the balls to even try to compete.

  10. He's not the only player who will be thinking about getting out, most of them will be checking their options so it's no biggy.

He's one of our "better" players but that's not saying much as there's a reason we have been bottom since October, we have the worst squad I've ever seen since I stepped into VP in the late 60's.

In the odd moments I can be bothered to consider who would be worth keeping Okore is 50/50 for me, his knee is a major concern.

I would wait as long as possible before attempting to offer him a new contract because of the knee injury as it still appears to be a problem for him to manage.

  11. He's done, no club would have a convicted pedo on their books.

What an absolute word removed, he had a life style that only a few could ever hope for. A beautiful wag, the birth of his 1st child all while trying to get it on with a 15yr old. A stupid moron who fortunately has been found out before it went any futher.

He deserves everything bad that he will receive.

  12. We are still up shit creek without a paddle but we still have a small chance unfortunately not getting in any player's in January means we need Gabby to find the best form of his life.

Still on the plus side at least we aren't waiting for any new players to settle in....maybe this was the Hollis CI plan??????

Very Des Bremner,  and I can't say higher than that.

We will have to learn to accept the odd awful NRC style pass, it is worth it.

Seriously? Gana is hit and miss but Des Bremner was part of a team who won the league and European Cup for me he's not anywhere near that standard.

He did play well today, probably the best that we've seen from him but this needs to be his normal game and not his best.

He has to set his standards higher, but as I said he did well today and as we have 13 "cup finals" to go the timing of his good form couldn't be better.

He hasn't scored a goal for us yet this season so would be a great achievement.

    Neither has Gabby...awful partnership!

I doubt we will win another game this season so I really can't see anything other than a Norwich win today.

My only hope is that Hollis has implemented his CI project to sort out the mess.
