I agree.. confidence is absolutely shredded at the minute from Guzan right through the team. That doesn't mean we are 100% relegation fodder. Look at Leicester last year, Sunderland before them..dead and buried in everyone's eyes. A turnaround is still on for Villa this season. I definitely believe it will happen. This was always a difficult game....new manager not able to influence team yet. But thankfully we are stuffing up against a decent side, away from home...than a relegation rival at home eh? We might be lucky in Sunderland Newcastle and Bournemouth being so utterly crap as well. Fingers crossed. Haha ... actually Newcastle have been looking not too bad the last couple of games...we'll have to find someone else to leapfrog lol.

Hello Fellow Villans, Long time lurker from north of the border here. Only made it to VP once....but boy was I lucky. Peter Withe and Dennis Mortimer humbling the them-mighty Liverpool and making this young boy beam from ear to ear (think we went on to have a pretty decent season that year haha). The last few years have been painful to see, especially under Scottish managers. I think we all had such high hopes for Lambert and it was sad to see him unable to lift us out of this depression. I wasn't convinced by the Tim Sherwood appointment. He seems like a great guy, but ultimately his lack of experience and tactical know-how led to the same fierce criticism we saw of Lambert near the end too. Now we search for another manager ... I'd much rather we poached a Pulis or Pardew and weakend a rival at the same time than taking a chance on another manager-with-potential. Now is a time for stability..to make us harder to beat. To make sure we remain in the league we belong in !
