I think you're letting the last 8 games cloud your judgement. That was not our only poor part. We also had some awful performances with kozak in the squad before his injury.

The standard of players we've signed over the last few years has been very depressing. Another average at best premiership player added to the squad. The fact he probably does improve our squad is yet another reason to be depressed with the state of the club.

A 2 year deal puts further doubt on a takeover this summer.

Yep we really were fortunate.

Of course we did but we were also very poor when we had them so I don't think it's much of an excuse for just how poor we were and became.

Back to excusing it all with injuries? I think some are forgetting just how bad the second half of the season was.

Try in what way? There's plenty of people trying to do their best at the club, the difference is whether you think their best is good enough.

If he's a decent player at this level why would he come to a club like ours to be back up? Either he's been told he'll play or actually he's not that good and we're the only club daft enough to want to sign him.

He's trying to justify the level of investment that's been put in under lerner by using FFP as a reason for it. The notion that this level of spending is all we could ever hope to see is rubbish.

Its all you've done for the last few years. Consistently defended the level of investment Lerner has been putting in. And now you've said we can't expect better. Its all been rubbish really.

So which transfer window did you think was an unacceptable level of investment? Because if you didn't have an issue with the last one i can't see why you'd have an issue with others.

2-3 decent additions (£5m+ each player) and 10th would be possible.

Think that depends on what other teams do and how they spend their increased money while we keep costs to a minimum. We may have to bring in 3 quality players to just stand still.

I don't think FFP had much to do with the severe spending restrictions placed on lambert. The cutting at the level he had to do was all about cutting costs to get the club ready to sell.
