Anyone that doesn’t want Emery is insane. His Arsenal patch was nowhere near as bad as it seems to be remembered. He had a good win percentage, good runs and all the while doing it under the shadow of Wenger, ridiculous fans and expectations and players just in it for themselves and the ‘gram.

    'gram? They're all on cocaine?

This blows the narrative that the players " hated him " away to be fair.

Think is we always tend to dramatize shit. It might be that they really enjoyed playing for him and really tried to get his and his staffs system to work, but it simply didn't click. It might have been too restrictive or complex or to easy o one-dimensional or simply just not been the thing our lads needed. Sometimes it just doesn't work the way you thought it would, and his methods might not have been very good for what was needed.

It is what it is, but I doubt it was as bad as we have made it out to be. No matter, he is gone now and we got an excellent reaction from it. Hopefully the team will build on that and our new man is just the ticket for the lads to blossom.

    Trophies won

Emery- 4 Europa League's,  1French league title, 2 french cups, 2 french league cups. 53% win rate

Amorim- 1 Portuguese title,  1 Portuguese cup and 4  league cups. 71% win rate

Poch- 1 French league title and 1 French cup. 49% win rate

Dyche- 1 English championship. 35% win rate

When you put it like that we need Dyche. He'll get us playing fun, expansive Dyche-ball as opposed to neanderthal Emery.

I wanna turn up to Villa park and be excited. Emery always seemed to find a way to pi*s off Arsenals with his line up, substitutions or even his tactics. Same thing will happen at Villa if he appointed.

If those are the requirements we won't be able to appoint anyone at all.

It's actually within the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to suspend Internet services (either by ordering Internet service providers to shut down operations or by closing Internet exchange points), so I'm afraid you'd have to contact Michelle Donelan ha ha.

    Thanks!

Plays toilet football that brings results. Like Conte at Tottenham.
Wont be long before the Villa fans turn on him and go on about how bad his football is. Villa park will struggle to sell tickets.

    Mate, you ok?

Villareal Vice President had passed away so out of respect, a very valid reason why Emery didn’t come last week.  Lot were saying it had been done last week

I'm not really sure why as the man's dead and can hardly feel aggrieved for him leaving.

Never played it tbh, thought think I may have picked it up on steam sale at some point, so will maybe have to go back to it.

How easy is Viccy 2 to get into compared to other Paradox stuff? Most of my hours have been CK2/3. Bit of Stellaris and HOI4, only recently started properly with EU4 since picked it up on Humble Bundle. Found Stellaris and CK the easiest to get into. HOI took a bit longer, think I'm at the point where I know what I'm doing but well off being any good at it. EU4 I'm still learning the ropes.

Haven't played it. I based that on others descriptions and my friends worries as well. He played A LOT of Vic 2. So I am in the same boat as you. 😅

I have played a lot of CK3 and love it, Stellaris I enjoyed as well but I sort of left it years ago after about 60 or so hours. Imperator Rome a played a lot as well.

Who is this Lyric you have all been mentioning over the last few days, and what has he done that makes him/her the Oracle when it comes to ITK and our new manager?

He isn't an oracle, but at least he is putting his balls om the chopping block with Emery AND an announcement today.
