  1. What a useless player. No wonder he’s been paying Konsa out right. Cash offers nothing going forward, but at least Konsa is solid at the back.

  2. Would be nice to see some confirmation on this FA decision elsewhere. But it appears to be a proper cock up for our 150 year celebration and explains why we haven’t had the big unveil yet. The silence is deafening and a statement is really needed from Heck on where we go from here.

I watched sky sports news to see their chat with Ornstein, where they review the days big stories. Interestingly they covered a lot of topics, including an Ornstien piece on the Nusa deal falling through, but conveniently ignored his article on Ramsey and the fact both coaches had contradicted it.

Not sure he's trying to unsettle Villa, or Newcastle,  but he's definitely well into the realm of clickbait.

Bardell & Evans were jerking him off on the last 1874 podcast as the best sourced journo around.

  4. Is this damn new badge and kit going to be released already? I thought we would know by now, the whole thing is becoming tiring. Maybe this is their plan, to squeeze out all semblance of anticipation and excitement from us and help soften the blow once it’s finally released.

For those complaining about a round badge looking too much like Chelsea, if you want a shield, why do you want the badge to look like Middlesbrough?

Cannot help think how much classier there’s looked on the shirts in the tunnel….

  6. Given the close similarity to our existing badge, I’m guessing that this has something to do with cost cutting. Keep the same Lion and colour scheme and so less needs to be revamped around the stadium? It’s the only explanation to revert back to a rehash of the old badge. If so then it’s really small time. We’re well overdue a change and moving on from a badge that we associate with the pain of the Lerner era.

Bread is awful for you really, unless freshly baked.

If you're going down the health route, those type of ultra processed foods are the ones to avoid.

I was referring to bread that is not ultra-processed. I would steer clear of that sliced white bread that is so common in the UK. I've lived in Austria and now Germany for sometime and the bread here is on another level. So many choices of whole grain and sourdough breads that are packed with fibre.

On another note, Ezekiel bread made from sprouted grains, beans and legumes seems to be the real deal and would love to have it available to buy.

It was reported by Maher at the Express and Star that this was the case, but either way, it's been submitted to the IPO, this is the badge.

Then now I am officially furious. It fits with them saying it was a rehash of the Lerner badge. What a huge anticlimax and shi!t show this has turned out be.

Bread is the enemy to a few on here.

Nothing wrong with bread at all, just try to choose whole grain bread instead. Unfortunately the default white sliced bread in the UK is awful. Haven’t lived there for some time but there is surely better options these days.

I think what Keto shows you is that it’s carbs that are the problem for most people. Wheat is basically sugar in disguise. A dietary regime of 50% protein, 30% veg, 10% fruit & 10% carbs is an achievable lifestyle for most people. This is what people should aim for and also to eat all their food in an 8 hour window. 11am - 7pm for most people. The science backs up this kind of approach as its probably the ratio's we would have eaten as cavemen varying depending on the time of year...

Keto is not a life long sustainable diet. Ketogenic diets stem from a starvation mode our bodies have developed in time of need and clearly people do benefit for short periods of low carb intake. But it’s just not sustainable as it’s too difficult to stick with over the long term and regular fasting can give similar benefits anyways.

I get why people see positive results when trying Keto to lose weight, because you lose it fast. But that weight is largely water and not fat. Low-fat high-carb diets are actually better for losing fat over the long term. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-020-01209-1

The default food our brains process is glucose. Carbs are probably the main reason why our brains grew so large in the first place! The idea that carbs are “the problem” is simply not true. Refined carbs are bad yes, complex carbs are anything but. The cornerstone of the healthiest and longest living people on earth revolve around diets that are predominately based on complex starchy carbs like corn, rice, oats, sweet potato, whole grains and plenty of legumes - the ultimate source of good carbs, protein and fibre. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these foods and we would all be much healthier if we ate more of them. The experiment has been done for us by people who have eaten such diets and live the longest to prove it.

Because Heck’s first public branding is so poor from a technical design and from just a fan’s view, that it scares us what he’s going to come up with in regards to the badge, kit and then other aspects.  You’d think he’d want to get the first thing he does to his clients is accepted or at worst bland enough that nobody cares.  This fails on so many levels.

As the old saying goes, start as you mean to go on…!

This pixellation of the word VILLA is deliberate. This is the graphic used at the top of the ‘AV10 Landing Page’. It is embarrassing.

As someone with OCD tendencies, the mish mash of fonts and styles and a lack of coherence is killing me.
