MM is there any suggestion the new European scout is already recommending players from the continent???

Major overhaul of scouting not just due to PL even though it was his recommendation on this guy ! They want to have in place a proper scouting systen to assist whoever is the Manager so it becomes the clubs scouting set up not the managers ! In answering your question don't know but the real fruit of this I assume will be next summer

Hmm very risky, I want Dunne to go but without any replacement it is very very risky.

Because Lowton can play centre back aswell they think they have enough cover was the thinking so in effect they think central defence is covered . Left back is another issue

Dunne won't be going anywhere, and if by anychance he is, we will be getting a replacement in. I don't think Lambert is on a mission to take us down and leave us with 3 specialist center back's, two of which are youngsters.

However, if Lambert has managed to find a buyer for an injured Richard Dunne then the man is an absolute genius.

I was also dubious about him going but was told 2 weeks ago that if they can prove his fitness before the deadline he was likely to leave . :!:

Spoke with a lad who has watched him all the way through a real fanatical Villa supporter and hid words are ringing true ' simply not good enough at this level '

He has had 10 to 15 minutes for me at Chelsea and even then he should have scored , hope he turns out ok and too early just to say let go . So far though nothing to shout about

I asked about Gudetti and wasnt given straight answer other than Lambert isn't adverse going with what he has forward wise at the moment ! I honestly don't know anymore than what I have alluded to previously . At the moment the prices are high and its like the touts getting near to kick off time think there are a lot waiting for them to drop . You can argue its dangerous game but a lot in the same boat as us .

Cool, fair enough. I personally think we may well be done for the summer and Lambert may be prepared to go with what we have. I think we will be fine if we did that, I believe we can get between 10th-12th easily. What's your thoughts on the current squad? Do you think we Lambert is looking to add or, not so much?

I think mid table at best they think it will take another 2 windows to get us into a Europa position challenge .

The wages to Turnover ratio has come right down its almost at 50 percent now . Club looking to break even this year operationally . Haven't got a clue what our budget is but like most of the clubs other than the usual suspects unlikely we are going to be doing anything like we did of the Bent magnitude.

Still see more high earners going out and replaced with hungrier something to prove types .

No one is going to buy him.

He's 31 years old, injured and has 1 year left on his contract. There is not a club on the planet who would agree to pay us money for him this summer.

He will sign a precontract agreement with a US team in January and move on a free next summer.
