Bit of a pain. Already paid £20 for my train ticket down from Liverpool and can't make midweek games. Plus I can't get a refund on the train ticket anyway. Shame to miss another home game but hey ho...

I have tried out the Gear S3 Classic and really like it. The only concern to me is the lack of apps. Other than that it feels and looks great. I love the rotating bezel and how it is used to navigate, plus the battery is decent. The strap you get with it is a bit rubbish but it can easily be replaced. Very tempted.

Holding off for a bit though as apparently LG are bringing out two watches as the first batch from Android Wear 2.0 in February. They will be called the Watch Sport and Watch Style. I will hold on until I see what this has to offer but the Gear S3 Classic seems great to me already and the fact that it runs Tizen doesn't bother me so much (apart from the obvious lack of apps).

The play-offs aren't 100% out of the picture but given our recent poor form (and continued poor away from) we are going to struggle to get close. We need at least one box-to-box central midfielder and a left winger during the January window if we are to stand an outside chance. Otherwise I just can't see any way of us going on a great run of form with this current squad. You never know and I will never give up hope, yet I can't see us reaching the play-offs if we don't strengthen during this window. Obviously it is easier said than done to get players in during this window but we are in great need of them. Preferably before the Preston game as we really need to hit the ground running...

Not fussed on this at all. Shame really as it is quite a good idea overall. However, I just don't see how it would fit into my gaming routine and the price is a joke.

I'll be picking 'Breath of the Wild' up on my Wii U and will be sticking with that console and the PS4. I really don't see the point in picking up a Switch at all and can't see myself being swayed. Nice little idea but it doesn't really do anything special...

Take Hutton for example. You may not rate him, I don't think he's particularly good, but is he good enough to play for a team 6th in the championship? I think so. Our issue is scoring goals and that is in the main down to a lack of supply from the midfield. A couple of decent signings in midfield and we've a good chance of improving further, but if we can also replace Hutton (as we have the GK) at the managers wishes then great. But wholesale changes of the kind you're talking are not only impossible in January, they're a really really bad idea. 

100% agree with this. The main issue to sort in January is getting in a left winger and a box-to-box midfielder. If we don't sort these two positions out then a push for the playoffs will be even tougher. We need to sort the supply line out and the massive gap we constantly have in the middle of the pitch.

The range on her main attack is obscene, considering it's a lock on and you don't even be able to aim. I'd fully expect a nerf in the next patch, either on the range, or damage.

Not a big fan of the new map yet, either, it's ok, nothing particularly exciting though, I've only played it a couple of times though. Not sure I'd consider it a Pharah fest, but that might be because I love playing Dva and Soldier, I don't see that many Pharahs.

Symmetra has always been good. People just haven't realised until the buff. Now she is even more effective...

Apparently the price will be around £200 with a premium model (bundled with a game) being around £250.

The new patch is now live on consoles. Just downloaded it this morning on the PS4 and it is around 10GB. It includes Sombra, the new small map (Antarctica if I remember right) and the arcade mode.

Just want to get back home to try out Sombra...

D. Va is great fun to play and her ult is extremely powerful, despite the fact that people have time to run from it. Dropping it from different angles and watching the kills rack up if brilliant.

Her boosters are great for getting through choke points too and for getting to better angles to deploy her ult from.

Don't worry about mastering it. I am pretty useless at it to be fair but I still enjoy playing it.

110 hours pumped into this so far. Liking the look of Sombra but as far as I can see they haven't set an actual release date for her yet...

On another note, I love the support Blizzard are throwing behind this game. Sombra, new arcade modes and new maps coming soon.

Tempted by this but may give it a year or two until I purchase it, when there is a decent game catalogue. It looks impressive but I don't really like handheld gaming on the go, despite giving it a go the the PS Vita. The other aspects of it all look rather nice though and Nintendo seem to have the backing required to make this a big hit. I already own a PC, Wii U and PS4 so I'm not really that pressed to get it at launch. Plus a year or two down the line there may be a new Playstation in the pipeline which would take me off the path of the Nintendo Switch...

I'm off to the Camp Nou in early 2017. Managed to get tickets in the third tier of the South stand (lower section of third tier). Will I still be able to see the players from that height? Looks quite far back but also looks like it provides a great view of the stadium overall and the price was right. I just hope the view of the match itself is decent...

I think this will be a big leap of faith, no matter who we appoint. The squad has just had a complete overhaul and the players are still only beginning to gel. Teams aren't generally thrown together overnight and despite the money we have spent, time should still be given for the team to adapt. We certainly have one of the strongest sides in the league on paper and it will be down to the next manage to unlock that potential. I'm not going to write anyone off until they are given a fair chance. Even the steady option of Bruce is a risk to an extent, although he would probably be amongst my top picks. Whoever it is they are going to need time and patience. I just hope us supporters understand that and that the board do too. Hopefully we can make a push for the top six this season, yet we need to ensure that we are promoted by the end of the following season in any case. We should not be down here...

I finally had the LG G4 bootloop issue a couple of weeks ago. Last Monday I took my phone into O2 and they stated it would need to be sent off for repair. I have been charged £25 for the repair and they said it would take 2-3 days (this was last Thursday). On Monday I received a text message on my temporary phone stating that they are awaiting an order. I was unsure what this was referring to, so I chased it up again with O2 and they stated I would now be receiving a refurbished phone. I am still waiting for this to come and am unsure what my next step should be. I'm expecting the £25 back as I didn't have the phone repaired so I will be chasing that up. Also, is a refurbished phone something I should be accepting? I am on a two year contract and it started in July 2015. Any advice would be great as the whole situation has been a bit of a pain, as I have been using the useless loan phone O2 have given me...
