  1. Just ordered it from CeX using vouchers. Looking forward to this one. Hopefully it will arrive before the weekend...

First new game since Overwatch for me, which I am still constantly playing.

  2. As stated in another thread, I think it would be premature to even consider sacking Bruce. This is a manager that has taken over a complete shambles of a squad. Now he is rebuilding it at a rapid pace. We need to give the new signings time to gel and back them all the way. The players are certainly there and I think Bruce could well be the right manager for us. I would give him until the end of next season. If we aren't promoted by that point then Bruce should be sacked without a doubt. We need some solidarity right now though and this team needs time to gel and gain confidence. Hopefully it will all click over the coming weeks. My only slight concern is some of the odd decisions Bruce has been making in recent weeks with regards to substitutions. No forwards on the pitch (even though we only had 10 men) is odd to say the least. Anyway, I am still backing him and will continue to do so. Next season it is promotion or bust though. We have spent a fortune and by that point Bruce will have been given plenty of time...

  3. Play-offs look to be completely out of the picture now, although not being impossible. The main thing is that this team starts to gel over the next few weeks and starts to gain momentum. Whatever happens we need to hit the ground running next season. Promotion will be the minimum expectation next season and failure to get promoted then should see Bruce sacked. However, talk of him being sacked now is premature. This is a new squad lacking confidence but we really do need to start picking up results soon. Play-offs or no play-offs, this team needs a boost from some good results...

  4. We basically need to win 12 of our remaining 18 games to stand a chance. If we win all of our remaining home games and win one or two away then we could make the playoffs. However, I am 99% certain it won't happen. This is a rebuild job and the promotion push will be next season. Still possible this season but extremely unlikely...

    His brother's at West Ham.

Forgot he had moved to West Ham to be honest. Shows how much attention I pay to the Premier League at the moment. I'm sure his brother has said good things about Swansea then. Whatever the case, the same thing applies. If his heart isn't with us anymore then it is best to get rid of him.

  6. It will be a shame if it is Ayew leaving. However, if his heart isn't in being with us then we might aswell just get rid of him and use it to our advantage. If it is a swap deal plus cash then I am sure the player coming in (Taylor or whoever else) will be the one Bruce wants in. The money we receive along with the player isn't such a big issue as Ayew would be off the wage bill and I am sure he takes a big chunk out of that. I would prefer him to stay but he seems set on joining his brother at Swansea. If that is indeed the case then good luck to him and we will move on...

  7. Have to say that I love TV's with minimal bezels and really like the approach that Xiaomi took with the Mi Mix (top picture). Shame it isn't available over here on a contract and that the only way to get it is to have it imported. The Samsung S8 sounds like it may be taking a similar approach judging by the recent leaked images (bottom picture) so I think I'll be going for that...

Barrow is more of a winger. Rhodes is a striker.

Whether it's Rhodes or not who knows but we need a striker now rather than a winger.

I think we need both. Although Green may have sorted our winger issue and the signing of Birkir could make it less of an issue.

We do look very thin upfront. Kodjia and Gabby are our only forwards right now really. Possibly RHM too, depending on what happens with his contract and such. Then there is the McCormack issue.

Two main areas that need to be sorted as the central midfield issue looks to be resolved now. Especially if Hourihane comes in...

  9. I went into the window wanting a left winger. However, if we sign Hourihane to go alongside Lansbury then I think we can get by with what we have on the left. Green is showing promise out there and if need be then Grealish can play out there, or possibly Amavi if pushed forward. Basically we could ideally still do with a left winger but increasing the quality through the middle is much more important right now. Excited by the prospect of a cracking central midfield partnership. They both score goals, assist, have experience as a captain and offer more than we have had in the middle for years now. I'm actually excited for a change!
