I would welcome Carroll with open arms, as long as we don't pay through the teeth for him. Put him on £40-50k per week max and then we're talking. I think he would be a very good addition to the squad and could work well with Bent, Weimann and Gabby. I can't see it being true though as I'm not quite sure why he would want to join us right now.

Fair enough, yet he has a lot to prove. I don't expect just one or two good performances from N'Zogbia. He needs to string a few together and prove that he's good enough. Right now I'm still not convinced that he's going to be able to recapture his form from Wigan. Hopefully he will prove me wrong...

I'm with the people that would like to see Carruthers given a run in the first team though. N'Zogbia shouldn't be untouchable.

We should really push to try to sign Johnson and maybe get Milner on loan. I dont know why Lichaj wasn't at LB today.

I would rather see Bannan, Herd or Gardner starting over Delph. He can be neat on the ball at times but I'm still far from convinced by him. The other three all offer more in my opinion.

Anyway, I'm going for a 1-1 draw. Taking a point from their place would be decent on the first day of the season.

I would take either on loan, as long as we have the option to buy at the end of it. Otherwise it's pointless loaning players from other teams in the PL. I would rather loan from abroad if we aren't going to have an option to buy at the end of the deal...

I went to see 'The Bourne Legacy' last night and I wasn't very impressed to be honest. It just didn't have the same gritty feel to it as the first three Bourne films. Plus Renner just doesn't suit the role in my opinion. They should have just left it alone...
