Heskey was injured and play 3 games in a week? Carew must start.. I think Collins must start in place of Cuellar or Dunne too.

Id like Petrov and Gabby rested as well.. Last time Sidwell and Reo Coker played we looked good.

the lads looked tired against Arsenal with a weeks rest.. Especially second half.. we ran out of steam.

Have to make several changes to freshen things up. Even against United we were dominated the way Arsenal did... we need 5 in the middle.

with in regards to squad rotation. Same as Saturday.

Only time you should squad rotate imo.. are if there are any niggling injuries ie Warnock should not play or an out of form player.

If Gabby is firing.. leave him in.. my only concern is.. would MON rest him if hes out of form like last season. I hope so.

MON cost us yet another game with awful substitutions and tactical naivety. When they were pressing us we should have switched to a 451 with Sidwell/Downing coming on for Carew.

Yet we just let them run us over. What does MON do.. takes off our best CM. Argh.

Cuellar and Beye were awesome. Friedel and Gabby were good.. the rest were shit.

Carew must play home games.. he turns up for most of those.

Reo Dunne and Carew were magnificent. Sidwell Cuellar were great also.

plus side.. Reo Coker and Sidwell.. absolutely fantastic. Just look at the possession.. 63% for Villa.. against at the start a 5 man midfield. Superb. Sidwell alot more ball than usual with Reo next to him.
