I'm pretty sure he went as far as saying the deal wasn't dead but that the medicals last week were cancelled and could be resurrected from what I remember. Also goes along with the theory that Barnsley wanted to keep them for the Leeds game.

BBC West Midlands correspondent Mark Regan has claimed McCormack is on the brink of a Fulham return.

Speaking on local radio, he said the 30-year-old's transfer would be announced "very shorty" by Villa.

McCormack was omitted from the matchday squad last Saturday in the 2-2 draw with Preston at Villa Park.

He tweeted that before the game yesterday and Bruce denied there was anything happening on that front after the game.

I get your point but don't think I would swap Rhodes for Kodjia tbh. 

How sad are we though. As fans. Here talking and worrying about the result and the predicament our club is in hours after full time. When the players who get payed an absolutely ridiculous amount of money to play for the club have already forgotten about the result and are probably dancing and laughing on the bus home or having a beer. How very sad the world of football has become. 

I don't really think  we are going to get relegated but if we really really want to get out of this division over the next couple of season I think this is our only realistic option.
