    ive got to say sometimes some of the things i read on here are outrageous how can he walk back into the england squad?perhaps because he is englands highest scorer in competitive games?did you ever see him play at real madrid his record was good despite coming off the bench a lot of the time.He was potent in the game against barca at the nou camp. How can you not rate owen for christ sake have you just got into football last season? he has been the best english striker for many many years now and he still is given a run of games.

    unless mon pulls off a miracle we will not get wesley Sneijder as much as i would want him as we are not even playing in the uefa cup.People like reo coker,defoe and bellamy and really good foriegn players are in our range for now when we get into europe then we will be able to get the wesley Sneijders of this world,thats called progress it will take a couple of more years to be able to get this type of player im afraid he is just out of our reach for now this is the reality. But hopefully fingers crossed i am wrong and will get a nice suprise.

    no they are exactly rumours and only that becuase we have heard nothing official about any of them except the reo coker one.If o`neill wouldnt have rubbished the nakamura link it would still be going on now just like the rest of these so called strong links.

    The nakamura link was on ssn and was completely untrue so i will now not believe any link at all from anywhere when we sign someone we will know and thats it for me.

    is this paul meatpacker(english translation) any good then?we need another proper quality defender or two. Had a good world cup, not the biggest name, but will be a regular in the German national team for a long time. Not a bad price either for an international centre back at 23 years old. nice age nice price for a promising young player aswell if he is quality he could be a shrewd buy.

    if we get into europe and have better cup runs and more games they(midfielders) will not be able to play every game anyway and will not mind missing bolton way on the saturday as they will be playing in spain on the wednesday/thursday for example.

    remember we plan to play and compete in europe and have better cup runs(more games)we need a lot of quality players to do that and still do well in the league.

    he wont sign for us before the u21s i know that for a fact because i watched him on sky sports saying that is the case and i am not into mind reading so i will take it from the horses mouth rather than the newspapers.It is the right thing to do on his part if he has a blinding euros he may get an offer from arsenal or spurs.
