  1. General,

apologies for the crap you will read here the next few days but Randy is the man who needs to sort this out. We are short a leftback, a midfielder and a striker. Anyone can see that, can Randy? Not his decision to rush and buy? Well, get a bloody manager in pronto who will!

You may question the support at VP but trust me, unless things change quick, itll be like a graveyard very soon!

Kevin Mc Donald needs an apology from the players AGAIN and a donation of around 50% of each players wage should do it. The poor guy hasnt a chance with those idiots on the pitch.

    That is all.

  2. Itll not matter who the manager is if the board dictate who can and can not play. Surely Davies should have played instead of Clark today as he has more experience yet due to his contract clause he didnt. We need to buy a striker but nope..... the board obviously arent going to buy again this year. Truely depressing stuff.

So the board shouldn't dictate who plays, but you'd be happy for them to buy a striker when we don't have a manager ?

No, i would have been happy if they had bought the striker in June or July when we had a manager who hasnt been backed by the owner and has since left due to being told the 5 year plan is myth and money is no more!!!!!

Randy owns this club so is responsible for the shambles we are in.

  4. General Krulak here:

    5. Randy will be spending a considerable amount of time over the next few weeks focused on Villa...although he has been VERY focused on the Villa all summer.

    Hi General.

can you explain further how Randy has been VERY focused on the Villa all summer?

It would be nice to know the kind of things Randy is busy with regarding the club.

    Thanks,

    Mark

  5. There are some big questions about the financial future of the club that can be deflected for a while by sniping at the man who has just bailed out, but must be answered at some point soon.

Couldnt have put it better myself.

If our spend has to reflect revenue how on earth does Randy expect us to achieve success. It is clear than we are one of the lesser teams in terms of size and stature.

  6. General,

thank you for the swift response to MON's departure. Not much detail but thats understandable at this moment in time. We know you could have easily kept out of the firing line for a few days.

You mentioned in your last post that we have been aggressively ambitious yet it doesnt seem that this year. Players have left without being replaced and to keep pushing up that table we would have needed EXTRA players to cope with the added games of the Europa Cup this season.

The future doesnt look bright at the moment but we all watch with hope that there is light at the end of this tunnel, oh and that Guus Hiddink is sitting there too. ;)

  7. General,

this summer has been simply rotten. What is usually a time to imagine what improvements are on the horizon for the forthcoming season has turned into a farce. As the days rolled on the 'sell to buy' rumour became so visible yet the OWNER didnt once come out and say what was happening.

Now it is time to cut the bullshit and be honest. Noone wants the smoke and mirrors approach. If the money isnt there, SELL THE CLUB. Maybe the next owner wont blabber on about a mythical 5 year plan.

    Aston Villa..... Prepared? :crylaugh:

  8. Randys comments back in May:

Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner insists he is not worried about losing star midfielder James Milner this summer.

Skysports.com revealed on Monday that Manchester City had stepped up their interest in Milner by tabling a firm offer for the England man, while Chelsea are also thought to be keeping a watching brief on the player.

Milner has established himself as one of the most sought-after players in England after a superb campaign for Villa.

It has been suggested Villa may have to sell before they can buy this summer with Milner one of their most saleable assets.

However, Lerner insists former Leeds and Newcastle ace Milner will remain at Villa Park next season.

"I'm not worried about losing James Milner. I think James will play for Aston Villa and should play for Aston Villa," Lerner told the Daily Mail.

"I'm not dismissive of the realities that a player that has received the attention and acclaim of James is going to spark discussion and debate about a move and so on. The answer is "No", I don't worry about him leaving because he is wanted at this club."

Milner, who is part of England's World Cup squad, was named PFA Young Player of the Year last season and he is set to find himself involved in a transfer battle this summer.

Unlucky Randy, he is a word removed after all!
