Josh Baker has passed away. 20-year-old spinner for Worcester and was playing for their second XI yesterday. So very sad.

Wow, died of what I wonder?

None of the online reports say anything.

Very odd. Especially if he was playing yesterday.

I’d prefer Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath, that’d scare the opposition 😁

I always fancied “Neocon” by the Offspring as a run out tune, short and to the point!

Are there any other Surf's Up outtakes that are worth hearing? I'm building a 'Surf's Up Extended' Spotify playlist.

Apart from the two mentioned above, San Miguel would probably fit OK.

Carry Me Home definitely goes but I think came out the year after, still if you are making your own playlist who cares about the odd 6-12 months? ;)

As @rjw63 will tell you, it's widely disliked by Beach Boys fans, generally regarded as the worst track on an otherwise classic album. Personally, I love it.

Seemed appropriate, with current campus protests (gives me nostalgia for 1968 etc.)  I just hope this one doesn't become topical:

Yep, generally despised because it takes the place of one or two Dennis Wilson tracks that would have fitted a whole lot better (“4th Of July” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice To Live Again).

The band had a falling out over track sequencing and DW took his music off the table. Shame really as they both excellent and were released decades later in box sets.

I will say, it's really not my genre at all, I like Come Dine With Me

Someone on here years ago started a thread about what you’d serve if you did Come Dine With Me.

The late great Witton Lane ruined the seriousness of it by coming up with the shittest meal ever, including a starter of Heinz Big Soup garnished with cum 😂😂😂😂

Still makes me giggle even now.

    Would bang 👍

Seems strange that I'm desperately trying to pick fault whilst at the same time thinking **** hell I'd smash that 😂 what sausages are those? That'd probably all I've got

Iceland Irish Recipe frozen sausage, reasonably cheap and tastier than I was expecting

The toast needs some good buttering that it presumably got, the egg is looking dangerously on the edge of being over cooked but could be nicely over easy, plate is a bit too decorative for an FEB. No Guinness in sight.

I can't eat egg if it's not done both sides, plus it was a duck egg (much superior) and needs a bit of extra cooking

Unsurprisingly the new Sporting Director's holiday has been cut short, he now starts next Monday. Looking forward to seeing what he's all about, hopefully he's got a strong idea about what he wants on the pitch, like the Stuart Webber of 5 or 6 years ago. Assume he'll sack the manager and be looking to appoint one over the break, granted I'd be shocked if he hadn't been on that for weeks already.

I don't really buy the 'well with that squad of course they're where they are' mentality. I think there are probably 3 squads in the division that are significantly stronger than the rest and then there's a massive group of clubs at a similar level. Are Ipswich, West Brom and Preston's squads in the top 6 on pure squad strength or do they have strong management building strong foundations and a strong mentality?

The largest flaw in our squad is that we don't have a second Josh Sargent, somebody that can really lead the line in Wagner's setup. There's no surprise that we've spiraled ever since and as I'm sure you've all seen first hand a lot of okay players become bad players when things aren't going well.

Anyway, reset button about to be hit. Exciting times, hopefully.

Small queef need sending down, we are relying on you lot!

  9. Lisowski should have pissed that frame but thirty odd points away in fouls and an unreal miss on a pink has shafted him.

Snd why are those two clowns in the audience wearing identical shirts 🤡🤡

Massive negative for Villa and Newcastle.

It doesn't impact the 'big 6' as they have huge revenues so can spend up to the UEFA cap of 75% of income, and still not hit this PL cap.

Means those smaller clubs not in Europe can spend massively more, up to £400m a season rather than current rules of around £150-200m (dependant on their turnover).

Villa and Newcastle are screwed - they are still capped by UEFA rules which is based on their smaller turnover, but now smaller clubs can spend double what Villa and Newcastle spend.

    Sounds totally fair 🙄😳😡
