Great finish by Burke that was!

Soldier. Most of the time it's not as cool as it sounds though

Here is an interview with him:
I can't speak french but he makes more sense than Gabby.
He'll get along with Nzog and Bentekkers
The Last Question reads "a future in France or abroad" and he answers he'd rather stay and develop in France, in the League 1. That's from 22 days ago

Blatantly stolen from twitter, but still...
"Schoolboy error by Hazard"
-
Should have had more than a 3 game ban. Not the first time he does this!

Half pissed you say? We went to soho, **** expensive it was, 32 quid for 3 Rhum and coke but it was alright, arrived at the 'hotel' at 7 in the morning so I suppose it must have been good! Although I'm sure it will be 100 times better when we go to the beautiful Birmingham on saturday!
-
Yes we have completely sold out, can't wait to come over!

Everyone knows it's bullshit, but I read this today in a belgian newspaper.
Do you remember Cyril Théréau? The striker made the good weather in Charleroi a few years back and was equally active - without success - at RSC Anderlecht. Now he plays himself in the spotlight at Chievo Verona in Serie A.
Chievo Verona or may not do very well in Serie A, Cyril Théréau does work well in Serie A. The 29-year-old Frenchman played himself in the picture at Fiorentina, but also the English Aston Villa would be interested in the striker.
Théréau himself indicates that he wants to fully focus on the rescue and Chievo Verona in Serie A. The former player of Charleroi, Steaua Bucharest and RSC Anderlecht in the city of Romeo and Juliet still has a contract for two seasons.
Haven't seen him play since he was at Anderlecht, but when he played there he really was awful

hmm maybe you're right we're just looking for some place to go out the saturday night, preferably close to the QPR area, but that's not a must. Something like Broad Street in Brum. The three of us are 26 so it has to be something for young people, that remains open late. I've only been to London a couple of times to watch the Villa but never stayed there for the night so don't know anything about it.
-
We'll be crossing the channel for this game so we won't return until sunday. Anyone know where the good places are to go out on a saturday night in London?
-
Maybe a long shot I know but I was looking to come over with 2 mates from Belgium, but they don't have the correct privileges as you need a Villa booking history. So I was wondering if anyone on here who's not going could help me out with 2 client references so I can take them with me. I suppose when I book the tickets they will be credited to the accounts given

We haven't sold out yet have we?

Thought you'd have started a which airport is the best to sleep in thread by now :-)

EDIT: Oh yes, I forgot Düsseldorf

In other news, in Belgium all charges against Benteke's supposed carjacking incident have been dropped today. The court apparently decided that although the facts have been proven, he won't get a sentence because throughout the trial he has been honest and remained on the background.
-
He's proving me wrong that's for sure. I honestly thought he would be a disaster but he's doing more than ok
-
How he wasn't taken off yesterday i'll never understand. He was truly awful. Any decent striker would have scored AT LEAST one...
-
hopefully will come on in the second half to get some minutes!
belgium have brought ion Lukaku instead
bastards.
Am now refusing to acknowledge their existence:
Ha! I like that page. It's all true as well!
-
we'll know just before kickoff
-
possibly, or maybe he'll stick Dembele up front. If he doesn't start Benteke will be coming on at some point for sure. Still got a feeling Wales will beat the Belgians though
You haven't seen much of Wales then? :winkold:
Not really maybe they haven't got as much ability on the ball as the Belgians, but they sure got the right mentality!

Lukaku is injured so there's a chance he will start the game, although the Belgian head coach has said that "there is a chance we'll start without any real strikers". We'll have to wait until just before kickoff to know who will be playing.
-
he's 6'3
-
well tbh he's right £1M maybe 2 if you really push it. Play Bent in the belgian league and he'll probably score 40 in a season"slow and technically limited"Mmmmm...Ill take that with a pinch of salt from a disgruntled fan!
Good luck to you Christian, hope Real and Barca are sniffing round in a few years!
There's a Belgium Villa fan on H&V who reckons he's worth no more than £1m.
Bing from Belgium doesn't make him an expert on Belgian football though. There are plenty of English Villa fans who appear to know jack shit about English football.
Exactly. Since when has a 21-year-old striker, with a record of 18 goals in 33 games the previous season, who's an international for a respectable country like Belgium, been worth 1 million?

Got my tickets too! Will be coming over from Belgium with the missus for this one. We'll be spending 3 days in the area so I hope it's half decent around there
