Duvel for me is muck. Tastes like I imagine petrol would taste. Very very strong alcohol taste which isn't what those beers are about (despite all being strong). Over-hyped IMHO.

well it's just education i suppose. used to live some 10 km from the brewery, now 1.5 (i can see it out of my window and pass it every day on my way to work) so around here it's very cheap and basically we were always tought to drink it instead of regular pints. I really like it though. it's a completely different beer compared to rochefort and chimay, but it's good

it's far better! got seat heating and all that. Don't find that at airports (at least not the ones in bulgaria and birmingham as far as i know )

:nod: visited the Rochefort brewery 2 months ago or so with 2 mates. we slept in the car brilliant stuff but can't have too much of them

nah mate blue all the way it's in my top 3 of belgian beers 1. Duvel 2. Rochefort 8° 3. Chimay Blue

And i'll need a lot of those tonight!

I have a Valentine's party the 13th, got my ticket already, wanted to tell the GF but i forgot and i think it's sold out now. I'm probably going to Amsterdam aswell that weekend as 2 of my mates (who don't have a GF) were going told them i was coming. :oops: On the other hand, she hasn't got school from 1 - 7 february and I took the week off at work. Guess i'll have to start the making up in that week already

who knows. anything can happen. Wonder where i will be sleeping in Hamburg though, apparently the hotel i booked didn't have guaranteed reservations
