I really felt for the couple involved. The woman's strength and attitude was inspirational though. It was good to see the happy ending and that they were together and had started a family. The Police involved, aside from the female officer who helped them, should have been sacked. The way they handled it was disgusting.

So at the end of episode 2 I'm thinking the woman's story was that weird and the way she told it was not at all believable. I was convinced the pair of them were banged up making up such bollocks and were being filmed from a federal prison.

This is why I'll never work in the police force.

    Eh? What Democratic primary?

I heard them mentioned on the Americast (BBC) and I was puzzled. Seems like they are just a paper exercise and don't really count for anything, not that they get any real coverage in the media.

Bosch Legacy Season 2 was great as always. Nice to see Lance Reddick get in one last "**** Bosch" as well.

This x100. Great to see Lance make an appearance in the last episode. Such a great loss.

The lead actress works/worked on Corrie, so it explains why she's wooden and only has one facial expression, but she's not helped by a script that seems to have been written by someone who's never spoken to humans before. I'd rather sit in silence than watch another episode.

I only know her from Brassic where she is easy on the eye and plays a more comedic roll. The whole premise of her being an ex special forces/Delta/assassin was just ridiculous. Also the house she lived in looked like she'd won the Euromillions jackpot.

Netflix's gritty British detective drama Fool Me Once has been getting pushed quite heavily, so we gave the first couple of episodes a go, what a load of irredeemable shite, from the clichéd script to the dreadful acting.

I tapped out after 1 episode. Utter bobbins.

saw Brain of J at the Water rats in Kings Cross on Friday night

They are a Pearl Jam tribute act .... if you closed your eyes you could almost believe you were hearing Eddie Vedder singing

£10 for a ticket and they played around a 2 hour 30 min set  , it sounded great  , if you are a Pearl Jam fan , then you should definitely check them out and see if they are playing near you

Just got some tickets to see them in Worcester based on your recommendation 👌

  7. Star Wars nerd here. Big fan of the original trilogy, not so much the new stuff (except Rouge One, Andor, bits of Mandolorian).

So I've "acquired" the 4k77 version of A New Hope and oh my its something to behold. The original theatrical release from 1977 without any special edition nonsense, no extra CGI, no extra Jabba the Hutt scene, exactly how it looked back in 1977, cleaned up from an original 35mm print. These guys have spent a lot of time and money on this labour of love and I have to give them some major kudos.

If you want to read up on all the work that's gone into making this possible have a look at https://www.thestarwarstrilogy.com/project-4k77/

All a bit dodgy for me his age. When he won the junior trophy he had a beard and moustache, he was just 15. He has a spare tyre like a 20 year old, mature well above his age, an even his Mrs is 21, going on 25.

    AMIRITE?!

    Seriously, I think a 21yo girl 'dating' a 16yo boy is a bit weird.

Google images suggests she's the female version of Jocky Wilson. Match made in heaven 🥰
