Hi General If the NOTW are correct then Barry has every right to be upset and questions need to be asked about how Villa have handled the situation. As AVFC are MON main employer he should be hands on not making smart remarks in a TV studio. The team is very weak in numbers we look like we are about to let slip our best player, I have felt for some time one of MON greatest weakness is in the transfer market. Get a grip Villa.

General If Barry is going I hope that we get a replacement before we let him go or we will be like a general who lets his troops go on leave with out the replacement troops being in place. I believe MON is very good at motivating players but I am not convinced that is is much good at signing the class of players we require to make the next step up. Stop buying from the charity shop and go to atleast M&S if not Harrods

In the local paper(Sunday Mercury) it has an article by an ex-manager John Gregory were he states that Gareth Barry has a sell on clause put on him by a football tribunal when he moved to Villa Park from Brighton & Hove Albion. Is this true? If he goes we must get a replacement of equal quality or better before he is let out of the door.

Hi General If the thread is correct about putting away fans and/ or the press into the DE upper which means I would have to move from P6 then I would be very upset and would certainly review getting a season ticket next season after 40 years. The view is good and I have made some good friends around our seats. I am getting on a bit and the expense plus another change would most likely tip the balance to let my season ticket and my sons lapse. Hope this is a false rumour.

General I must agree that the old ASDA carpark is a night mare to leave and last night there was no police in evidence and traffic being allowed to come in the other direction. I sit in the DE upper next to the TV camera and any Villa support was drown out by the Liverpool supporters chants being amplified by the stand roof etc so the atmosphere was lost. Stick them back in the North Stand lower.

General I enjoyed the game yesterday, but the loud speaker system in DE upper was still very poor and as this is the means of passing instructions in the case of an emergence (Health & Safety) then something should be done. We sit in the seats next to the TV camera platform TT132/133. Sorry to be negative but I believe this is important.

General Is there any plans to reduce the congestion around the toilets/bar area/walk ways in th Witton Lane stand. At half time I believe there is potential for an accident especially to children.

General Is there any plans to ease the crowd congestion in the eating/toilet area within the Witton Lane stand as I believe at half time it is almost impossible for a child to get to the toilet and certainly stops me from buying a drink at half time. The speaker system is non existant up by the TV cameras and as this is part of the health & safety for the ground should be checked after the new system is installed. You could get lost and come and visit us next season in P7 of the Witton Lane stand

General I have been a Season Ticket holder for many years and I am 60+(purchased a Season Ticket befoe takeover so could be classed as insane) and todays match is very close to being one of the most negative and poor that I have everseen. The question I would ask can we afford to risk spending big bucks on players when we have such a poor manager look at the records, look at our position in the league. The players he has bought with the exception of Big John have not delivered. Look for a new manager before Randy spends.

I am not asking for info on the planning as this is a no-go area, but maybe we could buy back the ASDA and simular sites to give some form of controlled and hopefully safe parking.

General A new Question (I think) In the last few weeks of the last board they sold off the Car Park on what was the old ASDA store site , although it is still being used as a match day car park this could be short lived. Car parking around Villa Park is always a problem area and as street parking is being reduced by the council this could cause a major problem. When the Holt End stand planning proposal went though there were some laid down rules made by the council which I believe have not been carried out. If we are going to apply for further developments we may run into trouble from planning, also the supporters will not appreciate walking even further. The question is what are the boards plans for local parking at Villa Park especially if we have to stop using the ASDA. Maybe buy up Birmingham CF ,flatten it, make it into a car park for park and ride.
