  1. TL;DR

I am probably a bit late but all you guys who are going on about how discraceful and out of order Jacks behaviour is need to smoke some green stuff and calm down.

You sound like you have your lawn cut to exactly 6.5mm with a few hand painted garden gnomes overlooking your perfecty white fence.

Plus you probably hate the guy who walks past daily with his pitbull because, in your opinion, the breed is too dangerous.

Every time you see a yoof with a cap on backwards your finger is stuck to your Blackberry, ready to dial 999 because who knows what kids are up to nowadays.

After arriving home from Pilates and washing your Nissan Juke you are going to make yourself a cuppa and watch Pointless before the "News" (*cough* *cough*) is on.

All you want now is to watch Corrie, so it's not even worth mentioning the 25 civillians dead from US bomb strikes in Yemen. But no worries you now know about Justin Biebers newest scandals so we will all be fine!

Learn to chill out and let others do the same.

    Rant over.

I don't know if this is aimed at me or not, if it is your judgement of me couldn't be far from the truth. The fact that I don't think spending a night lying in a road is the way for anyone to behave let alone a premier league footballer doesn't allow you to make judgement on how I live my life.

Let's see how the club react to this and I don't think they sit back and chill out as you suggest. They won't take a light stance on this and if jack wants to be a top player then he won't do this again. How he choses to spend his money and time in the off season is up to him but at the end of he say he has a chance that most will only dream about.

  2. He should look at someone like James Milner as an example of how to look after yourself.

Sadly, if this was Wilshere or Sterling lying in the street I would be thinking "prize bellends". As it's Grealish I'm not angry...just disappointed.

Exactly, seems like because he's one of our own people take a difference stance on this. No problem with him getting drunk, but ending up in the middle of the street is embarrassing, and people saying this is normal?

  3. Wow I'm amazed at people saying he's entitled to do it and most 19 year olds do. If that's what they do then where were the rest of them? I've been on lads holidays and drank most of the day everyday but I never once passed out in the middle of the road.

He'll get a warning from the club and will take some banter from the other players about it. Hopefully he'll learn that someone in his position can't be seen to do that.

  4. For some strange reason I've always seem to like him since he scored that late header against us in the cup. Don't think he's fulfilled his potentially, mainly due to injuries but he is only 26 and should be entering his best years now.

  5. Was absolutley gutted during and after the game, then fuming when my mate said gabby delph etc were out clubbing in London that night.

Disgraceful performance with no fight at all, Arsenal were good but lets not forget we didnt even try to play.

Sherwood couldnt see they had 2v1 against Hutton every single time, nzog and jack didnt track back at all and we didnt go wide enough.

How dare they, they should go home and sulk!
After playing like that without a care in the world about the 28000 of us who made the journey and spent hundreds, its a pisstake for them to go straight out after the game to party.

What should they do? They got outplayed by a far better teams who could have beaten any team that day with their performance. So what should they do?

  7. Personally I don't understand why people moan about other fan expecting them to sing all game. They expected to beat us, when we play a game we're expected to win, not many, then the atmosphere isn't as good.

  8. Anyone know what happened to the lad that ended up in an air ambulance? Didn't look good when I walked past.

Unfortunately he fell from the bridge above, (touch wood) it appeared he was lucky that his head didn't hit the floor first or he most likely would have died instantly. I was actually one of many who phoned for an ambulance as was nearby as it happened, the sound was horrific, and the air ambulance rang back to confirm location etc which the police acted on brilliantly to clear the landing area so soon - credit to our services where it's due.

Me and my sister didn't know the man, but like many others who witnessed it were both pretty obviously affected and if anybody knows the guy would really like to know how he's doing - have been hoping/praying for the best as he appeared conscious, if not moving when they took him to the helicopter.

Villa fan or not, it really did put things sharply into context straight after the game - just hope he's still with us and able to make a decent recovery

My initial thought was he fell from there, must have been climbing over the barrier though? Fingers crossed he's ok! Like you say it put things into context.

  9. Did anyone see Paul Lambert on BT sport? He picked his team for tomorrow and I'd like to know who he went for? There's a link on newsnow but I can't view it because I'm outside the U.K.

    Given

    Richardson

    Baker

    Vlaar

    Hutton

    Delph

    Westwood

    Cleverly

    Gabby

    Benteke

    Grealish

  10. Relax and enjoy the occasion as we're going to win tomorrow.

Wish I had your faith. But with the manager liking a high line, him saying we will go toe to toe, our recent Lamert-esque performances and Arsenal being the sort of team which could double the Southampton score, I don't think for a second we can win. We are Villa, it just doesn't happen.

Jeez let's not bother going eh?

  11. Not a fan of the banner but utterly ridiculous as usual from the fa who allowed Liverpool to use a surfer flag twice the size of health and safety regulations at the semi final.

  12. Was in the Manor today, there was a notice saying the money from the ticket was going to charity.

Hopefully true and backed up with proof of the donation.

  13. Can he not buy his contract out? (Next club paying for it via signing on fee)

He won't need to, players have too much power, he'll be sold and get his move. If he goes to one of the top 4 then Liverpool can't really complain. Personally I don't think he's all that, terrible end product, reminds me of Aaron Lennon.
