  1. Just watched the highlights of the match. We win that game with Martinez. Even Olsen's good save early on is only impressive because he has half come for a cross and is now out of position.

Sweden are not a good footballing nation anymore. It's still surprising he is their number 1 though. He just seems so poor for our level.

If Martinez is back for the second leg and we get the rub of the green, I think we turn it around.

Everything else like community and parks and rec and curb and us office and 30 rock and frasier and etc are great but they're not the best.

    Father Ted is the best

  3. Should have scored that chance at the end. I hope getting goal number 20 isn't weighing on him. It may have bobbled as he went to hit it, but that was a great chance to win it.

  4. I think he was at fault for the chance leading to the great save. Carlos would have headed back to him, but Olsen had come for the ball out of his box so Carlos had to try to clear it awkwardly.

Fulham next away for them. Fulham playing well and beating West Ham today. Loss

Everton away, derby match and Everton fighting for their lives. Loss

West Ham away, have lost one game at home since September. Draw

    Home to Spurs, Draw

    Away to Villa. Villa win

Home to Wolves. Dunno. Loss. Why not? They just lost at home to Palace.

73 points total for them. Villa need 11 points from the other 15 available to finish 3rd. We can even afford to lose today. It's in the bag

    Ok to reassess.

Lost to Everton was right, but won vs Fulham. Today losing to West Ham. Then lose to Spurs and Villa. 74 points with 1 game to play.

Villa beat Chelsea, Brighton. And we're a point ahead with one game to go against Palace.

The cat is in the bag

I honestly think I would miss. Took me four times to pass my driving test, and I had been driving since I was 16.

I think I would get half way down toward the ball and then run over to the ref and ask if I can go go to the toilet. And then I would get the bus home

England were over 75% to secure an extra CL spot at one point.  A lot can change, I wouldn't lean too much on those %.

Those percentages are such nonsense. They're totally ignorant of probabilities. I've been blocked by some of those accounts on twitter for pointing it out. They change drastically on one result which means they have created a probability on some assumptions but if they are wrong in their assumption, the entire probability % changes. The likelihood of the assumption being wrong should be factored into the percentage, rather than if arsenal win then the percent we quoted is accurate. If they don't win, essentially we have to completely recalculate the probability because the previous probability assumed they would win and made no allowance for the possibility that they wouldn't. It's nonsense pseudostats

  8. A PSA is not a risk free test. The number increases with age and leaves you open to some really invasive unnecessary investigations that can lead to really significant problems. >50% of 90 year olds will die with Prostate cancer, but it won't be the cause for their death, just something rumbling in the background. PSA test on request is not recommended.

GPs seem to love running them, but they're bad news. Interactions with doctors are like when US cops pull over minorities. The chances of getting shot/ made impotent/incontinent from an unnecessary prostate biopsy goes way up when your GP runs a PSA and you don't know any better. YMMV
