This is how Colombian winger John Montaño (17) plays. He will soon sign with Aston Villa of the Premier League.

Well, he looks an exciting prospect and hopefully a buddy for Duran!

One to go, and I've just realised they're not going to get near the end of the story in one series. So we'll be hanging on the chance of it being renewed.

I have no doubt it’ll be renewed.

    Have loved every episode!

  3. Just finished the Artful Dodger on Disney  with my 14yr old daughter and quite enjoyed it.

A fairly decent concept with AD (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) having escaped prison in London finds himself in colonial Australia after a stint as a surgeon in the Navy and employed as a doctor.

Things go to shit when Fagin (played by David Thewlis) arrives on a convict ship!

Some good surgical gore and amusing plots ensue!

we’ve now started watching Renegade Nell (also Disney) with Louisa Harland (from Derry Girls) who becomes an outlaw after being framed for murder. However she has certain skills gifted to her by a fairy (Nick Mohammed!) so can fight back against injustice.

First episode was pretty funny and an easy watch.

  4. I’m only a few hours in (lv 10) but my lad is blasting through it and loving it.

I really like it, it has elements of AC Odyssey, Ghosts of Tsushima and the scale reminds me of Red Dead Redemption!

  5. Already had his natural game trained out of him by Pep.

However he can now manage a mean 5 yard backwards pass!

Pep depletes natural flair and instinct, replacing it with methodical cogs for his football machine.

The negative comments about the dullness of the game are quite comical, tbh.

I mean, it's not like we haven't looked dull in certain games. Forest was one that definitely stands out.

But our games are never hyped up to be the game of the century between the two most entertaining teams for weeks on end

It was a complete wash out of a match and deserves ridicule 😆

  7. The players don’t appear to be playing for ETH - there’s rarely any effort or desire shown during their matches.

I imagine ETH will be shown the door in June and some other poor sap will inherit that basket case of a squad.

  8. Going to the pub on a weekly basis.

Always loved a pint or two with mates but more and more I can’t be bothered.

we now meet up now every month or so, which is great for a catch up but the thought of a night out drinking every week no longer interests me.

    Hardly drink at home either.

Don't get me wrong, I still love a good session (usually combined with a gig away somewhere) and I can still sink a few but just don’t want to do it every week.

  9. Must thank MotD for pointing out that Newcastle are the only team in the Premier League to suffer with injuries…

The media narrative surrounding plucky Newcastle, down to the bare bones is totally nauseating.

Great result and decent performance, had we gone a goal down when wolves should have scored it might well have been a different outcome but once we got on top we largely stayed there.

Both goals pretty well worked, yes the second was somewhat fortunate but had Konsa not mis-hit it into the net it would have been a nod-in for Duran.

Emery looked angry when he came back out for the second half, and Kellyman looked surprised when he saw Duran getting ready to come on, probably reading far too into it but hoping Watkins hasn’t had a bust up with Unai at half time.

    Hamstring tweak for Ollie

U.S. singer Lizzo has quit the industry due to negative comments made about her size.

    Yeah, me neither.

    Hmmm sure sure.

Nothing to do with repeated allegations of abuse against her made by her entourage and employees then? 🧐

I am not convinced by Ramsey this season. I can see him being injured again against Wolves and holding his foot. Hope to be proved wrong.

There's more than certainly a great player in Ramsey - it's just a shame he's been blighted with injuries since his participation with England U21s last summer.

It feels like every time he's got back to match fitness this season and looking good, he's either picked up another niggly injury or had further issues with the foot he injured on international duty,

I'm pleased he's back and just hope he stay fit for the run in as he's our best option at LM (especially as McGinn - when not suspended, will be covering for Kamara in CM alongside Luiz).

  13. Pleased he comfortably held his own (no KW gifs!) on the international scene but still doubt Southgate will take him.

Walker and TAA will be fit then for the right back berths and Southgate will no doubt opt for Maguire, Stones, Guehi, Colwill and probably the current flavour of the month Branthwaite.
