  1. They have effectively given other people their jobs meaning that they will either need to pay them off or be open to a claim for constructive dismissal. They have zero chance of compensation from us for Culverhouse or Karsa who will be joining us in the not too distant future without any doubt.

    Spot on.

I'm not sure whether Norwich fans were referring to a direct message via twitter from McNally confirming that Culverhouse & Karsa are staying, but when I looked last night and just there is no such tweet on his account at all and in fact he hasn't tweeted since 6th June 2days ago (unless he's deleted any of course) - @davidmcnally62

  2. James Nursey was on talksport last night talking about Lambert & Villa.

Not sure if he is ITK but he has tweeted tonight.

    James Nursey ‏@JamesNursey

Think Culverhouse and Gary K pawns in compensation battle between #NCFC and #AVFC . Fairly sure they will end up with Lambo at #AVFC

  3. All I hope for is that both KMac and Cowans stay at VP, they are loyal club servants and deserve to be kept on in whatever role PL choses for them, they've never done this club any wrong.

I think MM said both had a job for life at BMH - they are THAT well respected at the club and by the players.

Cowans hates working with the Egos in the first team in anycase apparently, would much rather work with the youngsters.

Beside we have at least one vacancy at the club because Grant left with the previous manager.

FWIW the same HP sauce from Wiz's neck of the woods ... that said a week before it happened that Lambert was to meet Lerner Wed/Thursday of last week and was absolutely correct with his timing.... said only a couple of days ago that it was pretty much nailed on for Culverhouse & Karsa to follow Lambert to Villa. They work as a close knit team.

Obviously matters can change in football, but I think if Lambert wants them and they want to continue working with Lambert, then they will be

    here come pre-season.

He was spot on with Lambert info.

  4. You don't need coaching staff anyhow when the players are on holiday or at the Euros.

Alot can happen in four weeks as we all know. I'd just let McNasty have is day on twitter and see what happens.

He seems to have developed a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way just lately, so let him get on with it.

  5. Culverhouse and Karsa definitely staying? On rolling contracts? Deja vu? :D

One would think someone would have learned how to handle matters professionally and prudently in the best interests of Norwich City & their bank balance.

However in THIS case I can see toys being thrown out the pram yet again!

  6. Hughton confirms his back room staff are going with him. No word on Culverhouse and Karsa and the PC villa bound I'd say.

I have just watched the full Hughton press conference on Canary Player, and CULLY and Karsa are indeed both staying with us.

Contary to what you may believe, both are on rolling contracts.

I think they'll be leaving at some point Wiz - but I also think it's only right that they remain with Norwich in the meantime, so that they can assist Hughton & his staff get matters sorted.

Lambert seemed very relaxed about matters at Villa's PC so I would imagine he'll be fully aware of any release clauses both Culverhouse & Karsa have in their contracts and when any clauses might be exercised if he wants them to join him at Villa.

McNally doesn't appear to always speak the whole truth in public as I said previously. So we shall see what transpires in the next few weeks...

Although for ALL of the Norwich fans bitterness I have noticed that McNally hasn't criticised AVFC's conduct in public in any way shape or form from what I can see.......because he knows he hasn't got a leg to stand on!

Unlike Norwich when they poached Lambert off Colchester with an illegal approach and got fined for it I might add!

AVFC may well have spoken to Lambert's representatives some time ago as anyone is allowed to do...but they sought permission from Norwich at some point in order to speak directly to their manager AND what's more it was granted because of release clause in PL's contract which allowed him to speak to another premier league club - Villa knew he had the clause - so did Lambert & his representatives and so did Norwich....

McNasty then decided he'd withdraw that permission the night before the talks were due to take place....., which angered Paul Lambert and the rest as they say is history!.....

  7. Bloody Norwich fans seem to forget that we have acted above board in our dealings and forgot that when they got PL from Colchester they had to pay compo and were FINED for their actions.

    This is from vital Norwich

I fancy this is well in the hands of Lawyers by now.

On thing for sure there will be many clubs that will be be very warey as to doing business with Villa in the future. Note that Norwich followed the correct procedure in thier dealings with brum and did the honourable thing in agreeing compensation. Villas position remains an utter disgrace. Honour is certainly a word that can ever be used by that club again. As for the tuncoats to begin raiding our playing staff most I would envisage us wanting to keep are under or have just signed contracts. Could make them a very expensive option.

Deluded but it's a waste of time trying to explain it all to them, they just don't wish to listen so leave them to it.

They don't call him McNasty for nothing!

  8. James Nursey was on talksport tonight...so I tuned in to listen.

If Hughton is bringing his backroom staff in to Norwich then there will be no place for Culverhouse or probabaly Karsa so Norwich should allow them to leave to come to Villa.

Pretty much backs up what's been doing the rounds from both sides that they'd be following Lambert out the door.

  9. Not pro or anti Royal at all but never watched any of the celebrations. To be honest it was easily avoided, yet to listen to people here it would seem it has been forced down everyone's throats?
Well, when you turn on the main news on a day when there is (for example) a major outbreak of legionnaires' disease in Edinburgh, the civil war in Syria is exploding. etc. - and get 20 minutes of Jubilee up front, I think something is out of kilter.

Having said that, I watched quite a lot of the coverage voluntarily!

Let's face it Mike you just like having something to whinge about. ..I had noticed :winkold:

  10. Is it right now to be sceptical of the majority of economists?

Many of them are just sitting around scratching their heads because the model is so corrupted it is slowly ceasing to function.

Apparently apart from "Inside Job" narrated by Matt Damon & "The Warning" made by Frontline... which are just brilliant in understanding what is going wrong with our global economy.

I've been highly recommened to watch "Chasing Madoff"....so intend to.

No doubt it will make me feel nothing but anger and dismay again.

  11. As far as Glaswegian accents come, I would say his is very soft...certainly one of the easiest to understand that i have heard in some time.

I used to work for a guy from Perthshire...his accent was much worse than Paul Lambert's and like Alex Ferguson sometimes needed a

    translator. Understood PL perfectly today.

  12. Messed up on AM but definately played a blinder on Lambert . Used the smokescreen of OGS and got their man in the end .

    Credit where credit is due

any news on Culverhouse and Karsa MM?

I think TT should NOT feel any shame in tracking Randy's jet from now on neither!

    As for IC & GK....

Obviously sensitive area methinks going on PC. Someone said think it was NCFC fans - Culverhouse is a free agent end of this month but not sure about Karsa.

Faulkner did I think let it slip though on AVTV interview because he mentioned "bedding people in at BMH before the players return for pre season training".... hmmm Paul Lambert is only 1 person thought........

Other point is they might have to let staff go at BMH or shift them around so it's not fair to oust people publically at a PC before discussing matters with them.

We do have 2 vacancies to fill in anycase because Grant left with AM didn't he?

  13. Annnnnnnnd back on topic, is the press conference at VP or BMH?

I'd love to see scenes at VP like when MON was first appointed!

It's a Villa Park for definite...... Pete Colley is sat in Trinity at mo speaking live on SSN.

PC on AVFC streaming live apparently also for anyone overseas.
