  1. Pat Murphy mentions potential garden leave could come into into the equation. Good old Pat being his usual positive self about Villa.

Gardening leave???? I bet Delia keeps her garden in good shape! :winkold:

Many years ago i was her ,erm "personal gardener"

and can concur that she has a wonderful Bush :winkold:

  2. I think Lichaj has done alright. He has certainly outperformed Hutton when called upon. I think he has progressed this season and I don't think we've seen enough to be able to categorically say whether he is or isn't good enough to make it. In my opinion I've seen enough to suggest he will make it. The rest is just the usual rough edges you get with youth and a lack of experience. I certainly hope he isn't dropped for Saturday, though given the enormity of the game it wouldn't surprise me if McLeish went with his most experienced line up possible - and while I wouldn't like it, I would understand it.

Yes agree, but if he does go for his most experienced line up (and Heaven forbid we loose)

    What can be McLeish excuse

  3. I stated much earlier in the thread that Lichaj is limited in quality and what i have seen to date has given me no reason to change my mind about him. We should be looking at signing someone better and possibly keeping Lichaj as a squad player.

So are you saying that Lichaj should be dropped from tommorows team and be replaced by Warnock or Hutton

  4. People seem insistent that AZ are letting him go, what's this based on? Of all fanbases we should know after Barry and Young that you can want somenoe to stay however much you like but its in their hands if they sign. I doubt they are having a party about him leaving for a free to Aston Villa.

  5. This news is probably going to upset Albrighton.. He's got into the first team consistently for the first time in his career and he's now looking at the signing of an International/Champions League calibre player that just so happens to play in his position. Poor kid..

Maybe this signing will give this Poor kid a kick up his arse and get him to preform better

  6. Thats why it's always a bit strange when someone says "those things will kill you, ya know"...Er and ? I may die at 70 instead of 90...Big whoop!

Mate, if you have kids I can guarantee you'll want those extra 20 years when you hit 70

I am a smoker, with kids and grand kids and i want to live to when i'm a 100

So i am going to follow this ladies example

  7. Yep got done in 1969 for indecent exposure

Was traveling back on the football special train from Charlton (1-1 ,i think)

Had a few bevvies during the day ,and on the train back, when the call of nature came. Now these football specials were nothing short of cattle trucks,

so no toilets, the train stopped in the tunnel (just outside New St station)

So me bursting ,had the brilliant idea of sliding the top window open, stood on the table and poked percy out of the window and started pissing. Unfortunately half way through my pee (the bit where no matter what ,you just can't stop) the bloody train moves off and i end up spraying at least 3 people ,standing on platform 2.

I wasn't done by the normal coppers but by the BR Police, who dually took me to this little office in New St Station, and knocked seven bells of sh*t out of me. They said that they had charged me, but threw me out into the street, and to this day i've heard nothing.
