  1. Get down there and throw him a welcoming party.

Great idea...My mate is at the Edgbaston test match, gone dressed up as Napoleon..Will tell him to get his arse over to BHX arrivals, holding a card saying "Taxi To Villa Park for monsieur Veretout"

Will let you know how it goes  ;)

Is he? (genuine question). Awesomeness if so. Him and Ray Wilkins are two of a very few people that have struck me as the sort of bloke a real football club ought to have around.

Sorry... iv'e got no idea...was just getting carried away with the Jordan's

  3.

Was there horizontal stripes on the home shirt?...Cos i could't see them....If they were ,i apologize, but i'm getting old and my eyesight aint what is was

    Yes

Thank you ...yes i can see them on the O/S site pic ..but couldn't  see them on the AVTV stream...Thank you for not making an old man thinking he's  goin blind

  4. I'll have to see the home shirt in the flesh but in these pics it looks a lot like macrons first effort for us just without the yellow band across the bottom.

Will be getting the away shirt for sure though, it's a corker.

Same here...love the away shirt...just hope when i wear it ,people know i'm a Villa fan and not a Tour De France winner

  5. This is going to make Mcleish and Houllier look like inspired, astute management decisions.

Seriously Randy Lerner, wtf are you thinking?

Think you'll find this was  Lamberts decision,,

  6. For all we know he works harder then everyone else as it is? Fact is none of us know. Having a go at a lad for having a beer before a football match is a bit tragic really. If he was absolutely shitfaced and fighting then yeah fair enough, have a go. But he's hardly doing much harm by having a picture taken with a beer?

I hate the fact that fans expect footballers to be something other than human, I say fair play to him if he's having a drink and meeting fans, i'd rather he did that then act all high a mighty like a lot of footballers do and not socialise with fans.

Not having a go at the lad. Just saying that ,if he is putting in a shift into training, and still not getting into the first team

    ,then obviously that's not enough.

I agree footballers are human beings, but some more professional than others

  7. Oh no, how dare a 20-something year old watching his football team play have a beer before the match. Sack him now *rolls eyes*

But surely shouldn't a 20-something year old ,who isn't in the starting eleven for the football team that pays his wages,be better off putting in extra time on the training pitch
