Here's a really nice interview with him conducted at the new Nuneaton Town ground, he talks about his memories of football at the old ground, his childhood, his career, amongst other things. You really get a taste for how all of his experiences shaped his body of work in various ways. 

i always assumed he was northern. Had no idea he was from Nuneaton!

The videos were great too. I would have loved to see him live

I know things went mega weird with him in 90's onwards and I was never a huge fan of anything from 'Dangerous' onwards but i'll always love his stuff from the 80's

I always think the early rounds of X Factor and BGT are just there just to mock the thick contestants.
