Went back to this for another run through, got myself some light dragon amour with double enchaments on everything. My amour rating is 482 (and increasing as i only have 40 in light amour) and i can cast those destruction spells for free with 40% resistance to fire and ice. Pretty much the same on my follower who can one shot a lot of things. Its like paying with the cheat modes switched on.

saw a video on the tube where someone had managed to get his bow to 4000+ damage and armor was just as ridiculous. Essentially god mode!

Yeah, I have just upgraded to the Expert (75 point) level spells and none of them are as much fun as the fireball. The fact that fireball sounds and explodes like a ballistic missile is really really satisfying. I might go back to Frost I guess!

I cant be arsed with switching between frost (damages stamina and slows down) and lighting (drains magica) so i just stick with fire that i think does same hp damage but is cheaper so you can cast more before you run low...... and this is when ive offically become a geek!

Also encountered the headless horseman last night

Level 42 with 100 destruction and the master destruction spells, though they cost a bit much and im thinking that the standard fireball is the way forward.

I was under the impression that no companion can die, unless you hit them by mistake when they are bent over regaining hp...

No, they definitely can die, when I had Lydia she got eaten by a dragon the poor bitch.

One of mine got hit by a giant then he shot off into the air and i never saw him again. As i had kitted him out with some cool stuff i had to reload

I absolutely smoked the second priest I faced, it was on the main quest line and he was on the top of a large ceremonial staircase. I could see him before he aggroed and I managed to nail him with a couple of sneak attack bow shots (triple damage) from the stairs before he knew where I was. I had a big enough lead before he could return fire that I just won the nuking war. He dropped an amazing destruction mage mask. I haven't checked, but it might be best in slot for my class.

What makes me laugh is that shadowmere cant be killed and it goes mental when an enemy is near by and goes off on one. Still amuses me seeing my horse kicking lumps out of dragon.

The Dragon Priests?

They're solid. Beat 3 of them so far. Think there is 8. Their masks are well good.

Yeah decided to go for a wander in the mountains (on the assumption that stuff in the mountains is harder) and causally wandered into an hour long quest with one of these dudes. I really do love this game but its getting out of hand, Im never going to finish it.

One thing ive fast learnt is that pillars are your friend. I often have to wait for my magika to replenish, specially now im getting stupid hard bad guys. So i just run around pilars in a comedy fashion while it regenerates and then they cant bash me or anything. I fought another bloke with one of those masks and i just hit behind a pillar and he just stood in the same place the whole time. Yeah i'm cheating the game but im also not dying

Fought two dragons at once last night, with a third one flapping away in the distance. I was very casual about it all assuming id mop the floor with them but they bit me good and i died

This game is an absolute joke, ive got about 20 quests in my list and then im trying to get through them and someone acosts me outside a house and another quest starts. Im never going to finish it!

Got shadowmere last night, cant really be arsed with a horse but its nice that whenever i fast travel, its there when i arrive.

Dual casting fireballs is pretty much raping anything i come into contact with, focusing on my destruction so i can max it out asap. I figure that if things get harder as you level then it would sort of be prudent to keep my level down, while i max out destruction. Dropped 10k on destruction training last night, up to 71, only 4 more till i can cast the next level cheaper.

Yeah, I killed him after he had killed me about 83 times. Hardest fight I have had so far. I noticed a lot of the fights you have on the mage quest line are anti caster but that guy was ridiculous. Really enjoyed the whole of the quest line though.

I just stood up just where i had killed one of those praying guys and he never actually came up there so i just hid behind a pillar so he never had line of sight and just kept popping out and in. Probably a bug in the game but did it first time.

Personally i would like the hardest group possible, beat the best to be the best and it'll be way way more fun in the group stages if every game is huge.

There are literally no hiding places on this game, think ive found one spot that i can safely call in a kill streak in all the maps. The maps are awful imo but im steadily climbing up to that all important 3.0 K/D ratio though but i think black ops is a far far better mutliplayer game.

Played it a fair bit tonight. It really is just MW 2.5. Good game but very much same old same old.

Keeping my K/D ratio above 2.3 and on level 30. Really want my claymores back though. It really does frustrate the hell out of me though this game, there have been some situations i have had to watch the kill cam to work out just how exactly id been killed by someone, didnt have that with black ops. Think its just really laggy at the moment.....

Madrid have a freindly next week at home, assuming i can just turn up on the day and get tickets?

Not really, its Madeira, not really the Canaries (I know you didn't say that it was :-) ) . Not easy to get to and quite a fun approach if you are a nervous flyer. Not that many flights direct from the UK and most are holiday booked - would be an expensive trip I would imagine

Im shocked that there are two teams in Funchal ive been to Marítimo's stadium and its tiny. No idea how Madeira supports two top division sides.

Also the airport is definately good fun.

So what i have taken from that video is that the game revolves around shooting helicopters out of the sky.

I am excited at the prospect that for once we may just outscore some of the bigger teams.. In the past we faced the likes of Man United or Chelsea and it was a given that they would score 2-3 goals and our side was only capable of 1-2 so we were guaranteed to lose most times. Now if we line up with Albrighton, Ireland and N'Zogbia behind Bent then we could be scoring for fun this season.

So we're going to be miles better than if we had young and downing? :|
