I'm sorry. Unai is not immune to criticism.

He's got to understand that this squad of first team players and mentally and physically exhausted.  He HAS to start playing some kids, even if they're less experienced and not of the same quality, you can't keep playing these first steamers relentlessly.

And he's got to make subs earlier when we're clearly struggling.

Hopefully we've still done enough to get the job done but we're playing with fire right now.

I don’t disagree but looks to me he’s already made his mind up on the kids. Having no midfielders available is killing us.

I think it's a perfectly good idea, getting rid of the turncoats and cry babies. Those with short memories who turn on those that have given a lot for this team to be where it currently is. Absolutely fantastic idea!

    Ok,  have a good weekend.

It's a shame we cant book shit fans.... on a flight to a gulag or something similar

Massive over reaction on your part, yeah let’s send all fans who have a different opinion to yours to a prison camp, pathetic!

We had a Rolls Royce, got suspended, came back a beaten up ford escort with bald tyres

He has been poor way before the suspension mate. Shadow of the player without Kamara.

Strange how football can work. Had we have won last night and Spurs drew today we'd be a point further in front of them but arguably it would have made Spurs remaining games easier. Chelsea would have been deflated going into their game against Spurs after 2 defeats, and being a point further off the only thing they have left to play for, and Man City would have almost certainly had the title wrapped up before they play Spurs.

Agree, we need Arsenal to keep winning so City have to go to Spurs and win. If Arsenal draw or lose that game it would probably have meant the Spurs v City game was a dead rubber from City’s point of view

+1 point on them, spurs look good, got the bit between their teeth second half. Don't think I can bring myself to watch the Chelsea game, far  too nervous, UTV

They are a good team but Arsenal were poor today, gave the ball away cheaply all game. They would’ve have been more comfortable if the keeper hadn’t given Spurs hope.

Back from the game and firstly, a fantastic evening with my 12 year old, who loved his first match outing at Villa Park.  Great atmosphere and I thought the fans were great throughout.

The game, well we were certainly clinical first half and basically robbed them of a two goal lead somehow. Rogers took his goal brilliantly. However, Tielemans going off clearly disrupted us, as we needed three in the middle today against a very good Chelsea press. Silva adds such a calmness to their backline and without him, you can see why they concede so many. Gallagher definitely gives them something in the middle. If they had a decent striker, they’d be pushing a top four place.

Second half was worse than the first half and we rarely got any joy going forward. Passing was sloppy throughout the game but worse still second half. In truth we were clinging on and a draw perhaps flattered us. The ruled out goal was the correct decision in my view, it’s a blatant push in the back. Can’t understand why Chelsea are so angry?

However, we were just pleased to be at the game, saw some good goals today and I can’t knock the team. We looked a little lost, couldn’t pass, couldn’t get going, so basically a point gained.  Just hope the injuries to Tielemans and Martinez are nothing serious and minor enough so both will be fit next week?

Over to you Tottenham. I’ll certainly take this seven point lead for now.

Glad you a your lad had a great night mate, yes it wasn’t the result we all wanted but going the game with your kids is what it’s all about. My favourite memory’s as a kid was going the game with my family.

It's interesting that mentality and physicality keeps coming up in this thread.

I think we were tactically badly organised tonight and technically really poor on the ball.

I think it's our mentality and physicality that got us a point despite that.

Agree we didn’t looked organised, think Tielemans going off really threw us. I get why Diaby came on but he probably wasn’t the right sub at that stage. We didn’t have a lot of choice though.

Just watched the disallowed goal again, **** me, Carlos was shoved into a different post code. There can be no debate whatsoever, was a clear foul.

I thought it looked soft but having seen it again it’s a clear shove, the ref looked like he was looking straight at it as well. What annoys me more is if Carlos falls over he probably gives it as a foul.

Pissed off we again throw away a 2 goal lead at home against teams we should be finishing off. Lucky in the end but hope these dropped points don’t come back to hurt us. Gave them too much of the ball although we were comfortable with that first half. Second half we were terrible. Angry at the moment but if you would have asked me if I’d take 7 points from Arsenal away and Bournemouth Chelsea I’d have taken it . Pressure on spurs now .

They moved the ball far quicker 2nd half and we looked tired. Yes it’s annoying we didn’t see it out but we never really had any control in the game. Gutting but could prove to be a very good point.

  11. Obviously he misses Kamara next to him but he needs to do a lot more than he has been. I’ve said it the last few games he’s played he’s gone back to holding on to the ball to long and not playing simple passes when they are on. He needs to hit the gym as well, physically he struggles to compete, that’s why he’s been booked so much. Most of his booking are for pulling after being muscled off the ball.

  12. I’m usually really annoyed when we throw away a 2 goal lead but at no point did I ever think we looked comfortable tonight. I actually thought Chelsea were good tonight and it could prove to be a great point come the end of the season.

  13. I’ve always been a massive SJM, cracking player and a very humble bloke. He annoyed me with the Spurs sending off, he’s better than that. Proper captains performance today. Same again Thursday night skipper!
