Wow.
I watched that with my sleeping 3-day old daughter lying on me. I don’t think she appreciated the involuntary f-bomb I blurted out at the end!
Shocking to say the least but it was inevitable when Howard turned up at the apartment after Lalo had seen the cockroach (having referred to Saul as one in an episode last season).
I’ve actually found myself feeling quite sympathetic towards Howard these past couple of seasons. He was a really entertaining character (possible even more watchable than Lalo IMO), perfectly played, and that was quite an upsetting ending for him. I guess it was the perfect way to blend Jimmy/Saul’s two worlds, though.
At least I can start taking Lalo seriously again after his international escapades and someone pointing out to me how much he looks like Steven Toast.

Most Villa thing of all time. Just **** off you **** words removed.

Wow first time I’ve seen him in ages and Grealish looks about 40. Aged horrifically!
-
Only seen a couple of replays so might be wrong but that looks like one of the clearest red cards I’ve ever seen!

One of those games where the gap between midfield and forwards is huge. There’s no link. Full aren’t pushing on for some reason which doesn’t help. This has been an issue for us for ages.
Really disappointed by Luiz after how good he was mid-week. Still unconvinced by Coutinho. Looks as if he’s playing within himself. At least Emi would be busting his balls.

Ballsy sub. Really hope shifting the position of our best player tonight doesn’t balls things up.

To be fair, I’ve not been watching Liverpool as closely as I’ve been watching us but Luiz has been the best player on the pitch.

Ref doesn’t even have to bother hiding it as there won’t be any repercussions anyway.

This sort of refereeing performance would prompt an investigation in any other sport.
-
Luiz, McGinn and the whole balance of the midfield has looked so, so much better in the past couple games with a proper DM.

I really thought Cash was one of our weakest links earlier in the season but he’s improved so much since Gerrard came in, to the point where he’s now one of our best players. Delighted to have been wrong.

A very boring 0-0 would do just fine.
So would just the teeniest bit of entertainment.

Just. So. Boring.

I wince a little every time I see Buendia not starting. Potentially our best player being driven out. It’s a weird one as I thought he’d be the sort of player Gerrard would like - hardworking, gets stuck in and creative.

Watching ep1 and it's a bit of a chore tbh, might ditch it till the full season reviews are out. Damnit, looked awesome on paper too.
I’ve just watched the first two episodes. As you say, sounds great and it’s got a strong cast but it was just… ok. Intriguing enough to carry on with but I’m not hooked.
The most disappointing thing was that it seems like it’s just another show where mystery revolves around
Spoilertime travel
based on the end of episode 2.
Was hoping for something a bit more original/out there.

Just absolutely brutal. Tough one to take, this.

Fair play, I didn’t expect such a positive reaction to the early goal. We’ve been aggressive and played really well. A few poor touches from our strikers in the box have cost us. I’d love to see Buendia for Watkins, with Ings through the middle.
In reality, Spurs will get another goal early second half and we’ll chasing the game again.

Doesnt matter if he is on the ball, lucky he doesnt break Kulusevskis leg. Ok to play hard but that is a cowardly tackle.
Absolute complete bollocks to the point that this must be trolling.

That’s just ridiculously unlucky and an unbelievable finish from Son. The test now will be to see if we’ve got the spirit to not completely fold. I’m not optimistic tbh.

It’s really not that bad once you get used to it. Holding L becomes second nature. It’s not ideal but they didn’t really have any choice given that so many puzzles and fights are based around specific directional sword slashes. The right stick worked perfectly for me.
I didn’t think much of it years ago when I played it on the Wii but really enjoyed it this time round. Definitely worth persevering with for some really, really good dungeons.

Buendia please.

I could kind of understand it if we looked shaky at the back but were creating loads (or vice versa) but we could’ve easily conceded 5 and don’t even remotely look like scoring.

Our movement for each other continues to be an absolute disgrace. Players isolated in possession again and again and again.

MacGruber. Genuinely one of the funniest films I’ve ever seen.

Better Call Saul - The Final Season (untagged spoilers!)

Jimmy/Saul was Lalo’s lawyer in his murder charge and went to collect $7m bail money from the twins at the border. He got ambushed by mercenaries sent by Bolsonaro (I think) on the way back but Mike saved him, then asked him to lie to Lalo about what really happened (I can’t remember why exactly). Lalo was driving to Mexico with Nacho when he found Saul’s car pushed off a cliff, riddled with bullet holes, so turned back and went to Saul’s apartment to find out the truth, but Kim managed to talk him round.
After that, Saul knew that Lalo was going to be ‘taken care of’ but didn’t have anything to do with making it happen.
Yes, I’ve recently re-watched season 5
I’m not too sure why Lalo came back to Saul’s in this episode. Maybe because he was introduced to him by Nacho?
