I would.
But then I'm not really an expert on pre-season routines, work levels, fitness levels and the effect that it would have on a squad of professional footballers. I just see bright lights and a couple of nice trips abroad.
So whatever the club decide, I'm happy with. I'm sure that they'll weight up the pros and cons and make the right choice.

I wouldn't complain if we got Kamara. He'd offer something different to the strikers we currently have, and (as said above) would be one of those players who do a great job in the Premiership at the second time of asking.

MON watches local team. He must be after someone. OR, he had an evening to spare and fancied taking in a local football game. I believe he's quite keen on the sport in question :?
If we're really looking for a conspiracy theory, it could be because (with our packed schedule) it was his only opportunity to see Boro play before our game with them in April.
-
if the Baggies go up it wont be because of him but because of the likes of Kamara
Absolutely.
A player along the lines of Kamara is far more suited to our current needs than the likes of Davies.

I heard 3.5m they were thinking. What a deal that would be! Sell Sell Sell!
I've not seen that reported anywhere, but if so then snap their hands off.

Platini mentioned something about it when he was elected President of UEFA the other week, but no real specifics. Of course he also mentioned only having the top 3 in every major league qualify for the Champs League.
But then, people will say any old crap to get themselves elected to a position of power.
-
If probably is fate that he'll end up at Blues, as somebody said on another thread.
-
I think he's just the sort of player MON would be interested in. He took him on up at Celtic and let it be known that he wanted to sign him permanently, but Celtic didn't have the money.
If he's available (which it looks like he is) and we have the money (which it looks like we do), then I think he'll certainly be a target.
-
Every club Bellamy has been at he was serious trouble and if we got him in he would wreck the dressing room
Not at Celtic under Martin O'Neill he wasn't.
-
I think the recent incidents would make a swoop for Bellamy less likely. MON will not want trouble makers like him here!
I would say that MON is more likely to go on his own judgement and experiences of Bellamy (considering he has signed him in the past) than what is being reported in The Sun.

We all know Chelsea get a different price for a player they want over every other club, if we got David Villa for say 15m then great, i don't care how much, just get this striker in our team, he is simply superb.. not just cause of his name though.
Please, Please, Please MON do everything you can to get him!!!
And please get us Ronaldinho, Cannavaro and Buffon as well. Or maybe we should be a little bit more realistic.

I regard homosexuality as a sin, and all sin no matter what they may be, has to gotten rid off
What about the enormous majority of homosexuals who don't believe that it is a sin that needs to be 'gotten rid of' (an opinion that the majority of heterosexual people hold as well). Earlier you said that you should respect other people's opinions if they are different. Last month I was best man at my best friend's wedding/civil ceremony (depending on which terminology you wish you use), and I can tell you for certain that he and his partner don't feel they need to get rid of any sin.
As these people hold this opinion, shouldn't you just let them be without fretting about them getting rid of 'their sin'?

keane is not past his best, thats just like saying SWP is
Alright. They're both past their best. And we can do better than either.

I think the answer is both to be honest, don't think its a simple either or. But the larger percentage probably is nature rather than nurture
That's the way I see it.
There are various things that are a combination of both nature and nurture. The ability to learn language being the most obvious. Certain factors have to be present on both sides in order for it to develop.

This isn't a suggestion, merely a question:
What about Jonathan Woodgate?
I know he is injury-proned, but what if assured he would not stay that way?
Worth a shot?
Real Madrid seem pretty sure they've sold him to Middlesbrough. Otherwise he'd be a very good option.

Either that, or 17 year old Villa fan Shaun Walsh is having a bit of a laugh on Wikipedia.
TBH I think someone's having a laugh putting Darius Vassell as a 'notable player' in the 2000's for Villa too, but there you go.
Although considering in that time period he became Villa's highest England goalscorer since David Platt, he's probably worth a mention. And if the likes of Schmeichel and Solano are worthy of inclusion, Vassell certainly is :winkold:
Schmeichel and Solano are in there for what they've done elsewhere - and are as such notable players. Vassell has done nothing anywhere Anyhoodlydoodle.
And Baros was included why?
Services to the bars of Birmingham?

Missing the penalty that knocked England out of Euro 2004? :winkold:

If he is available for a months loan, surely there are other clubs who would be interested like Stoke.
That's my thought. Lend him to Derby or Preston...somebody who deserves him.
-
Add me to that list.
Cahill could quite well become better than all of them...but at the moment he isn't. Give him time though.
-
At the moment (going on who is fit), Mellberg and Ridgewell. Then Laursen takes Ridgewell's place when he comes back. Ridgewell on the bench. Cahill back in the fold when Laursen next does himself a mischief.

100% guaranteed that there will be no more signings.
If we tie up Maloney's deal today, I will be consider that a wonderfully successful transfer window. No complaints if none come in after Maloney.
Won't that just be a pre-contract though? Except for that possibility there seems as though there will be no-one else.
I think the talk now is tying him up for the rest of this season for a couple of hundred thousand.

It does seem that teams are no longer treating it like the joke that it was a few years ago.
Blackburn, Bolton, Fulham, Middlesbrough, Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle have already applied, leaving us, Reading and Portsmouth as the only ones who haven't from places 5th-15th.
