How's about:
"Laursen is the son of God Hallelujah" to the tune of "Michael row the boat ashore"?
Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it, Love it, really love it.

Gotta be number 3 for me. Like that it shows everything we've won but isn't tacky.
Oh and went for alternating between upper and lower holte
But itis, very tacky, without the numbers it would be better though
-
Number 1 simple and effective, 2 looks cheap, 4 looks shit and 3 is a bit wank, the type of crap liverpool would unfurl. We are Aston Villa and as such 1 is most suitable.
I totally agree with that, numero uno please

YES YES YES YES!!!!
Thanks for your post, sorry for getting some of the words wrong!!
You are welcome, the words are in this post somewhere in the past

Why cant anyone seem to manage to sing holte enders in the sky properly???
If you know what i mean then im sure you are as annoyed as me.
If you dont, check out "Johnny Cash - Ghost riders in the sky"
And replace his lyrics for these:
"As I walked down to Villa Park one dark and dusty day,
I spied a poor old City fan running far away,
I said to that poor City fan, it looks like you must die
Cos you have seen the glory of ...
Holte Enders in the sky
Yippeeeiiiooo, yippeeeiiiaaa
Holte Enders in the sky
We chased him through the terraces, we chased him down the streets,
But little did that City fan know that death must be his fate,
'Cuz Villa fans rule Birmingham and city fans know why,
'Cuz they have seen the glory of....
Holte Enders in the sky
Yippeeeiiiooo, yippeeeiiiaaa
Holte Enders in the sky"
These are the CORRECT words to HEITS, as wrote in 1971 by Keith Bryenton,
we still sit on the Holte together,
As i walked out at Villa Park one dark and dusty day,
I spied a poor blues fan a running far away
I said to this poor city fan it looks like you might die
He said i know `cause i`ve just seen seen Holte Enders in the sky
Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky,
now he ran down the terraces and then towards the gate
little did he know death was to be his fate
he had one more short hour to live and then he`d hear the cry
that every city fan does fear , Holte Enders in the sky,
Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky,
Thier fists where just like granite and their pockets full of lead,
and when they catch a city fan, you know he`ll end up dead
`cause Villa fans rule birmingham and city fans know why,
the`ve all heard and th`ve all seen Holte Enders in the sky,
Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky,

Heard on the way to the JJB sung by a group of Villan walking behind us a funny rendition of 'Keep Right On' changed to 'Wipe that snot of the end of your nose' anyone know the words to this?
Also heard to the tune of 'don't take my sunshine away' -
We've got Scott Carson,
Mellberg and Laursen etc
anyone know thw complete version of this?
Albion fans sing it....
Wipe that snot off the end of your nose
Wipe that snot off the end
It's long and green and it can be seen
Wipe that snot off the end
I wrote the words to wipe that snot in 1972
and it went like this;
Wipe that snot off the end of your nose
Wipe that snot off your nose
Though its long and hairy still wipe it off
till you come to the end of your nooosse
so f-ck off, f-ck off, you blue nose scum
wipe that snot off the end of your nose
BLUENOSE.
First sung by The Dougal Mob.
Wrote it because i could not stand to hear KRO
sung and still cannot, and its from where they
got to call themselves bluenoses

General, great win today, which was totally spoilt for me when i got back to my
car and found that some moron had tipped a can of paint stripper over its bonnet/hood.
it was legally parked and not even outside of any ones home.
This is the 4th time my cars have been vandalised/robbed outside of Villa Park
in the last 15 years, as a pensioner i fear this will be the last season i and will not
be renewing my season ticket as i can only get to the Villa by car
-
Made his first team debut at Sheffield Wed in central midfield,
i was there that day, and you could tell then he was class.
-
Get my season ticket money back

This was posted a few weeks ago, it would work at Villa Park,
"General,as a commander of fighting men you know the value of a battle hymn, anyone who has heard the kop at Liverpool singing "you'll never walk alone" will testify to it's effect on big occasions."
We at Villa lack this kind of an anthem. If you have ever listened to the BBCs annual Last night of the proms you cannot have failed to be moved by the rousing rendition of the "English anthem" Land of hope and glory that always closes the evening, it is awesome. The poem is about pride and history in the land that we call home. With that in mind I've adapted a version that I believe could be sung loud and proud by Villa fans.
LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY, MOTHER OF THE FREE,
HOME TO ASTON VILLA, HOLTE AND TRINITY,
repeat
HOME TO ASTON VILLA, HOLTE AND TRINITY.
WIDER STILL AND WIDER SHALL OUR FAME BE SPREAD,
GOD WHO MADE US MIGHTY, MAKE US MIGHTIER YET,
repeat
GOD WHO MADE US MIGHTY, MAKE US MIGHTIER YET.
LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY, MOTHER OF THE FREE,
BURNING BRIGHT OUR FUTURE, PROUDEST HISTORY,
repeat
BURNING BRIGHT OUR FUTURE, PROUDEST HISTORY.
"You have to listen to a tape of the proms as I have been doing tonight to feel the full spinetingling impact of thousands of voices singing this to the tune of Elgars Pomp and Circumstance. I guarantee General if you were able to have this embellished and recorded by a male voice choir and then played it at the opening of the Holte End hotel you would bring the house down! (perhaps not the best choice of words given the hotels recent history). "
"Villa fans need a positive voice in the stadium General and what better than the proudest and most rousing anthem that the English possess."
My congrats for the lyrics and choice of music, would be very rousing.

I know you've worked hard for this and sorry for being negative but I think it's crap?
It sounds like a foriegn chas n dave track rather than a football anthem?
I don't think the FC Cologne Version with the clapping sounds crap sorry but I don't and if you look on You Tube at FC Cologne fans singing it sounds great but then that's my opinion... Dwight York sounded a bit naff TBH until it was adopted but was great when everyone at VP or wembley when we won the cup was singing it!!!
Agree. The german band makes it sound crap, but when the fans sing it it sounds really good
Yeah all who keep saying its crap have a look at this video on You Tube and then decide...
Its worse than crap, would never catch on at the Villa,
from an Holte Ender since !967, keep it simple Julie and you may suceed

My mate wrote the lyrics to H.E.I.T.S.,in 1970, here they are,
(the cleaned up version)

Who would our equivalent of Jim Brown be?
Charlie Aitken? Brian Little?
Paul McGrath maybe?
Jimmy Brown, Villa`s youngest player and captain.
-
And there are Villa fans who hate us more than they hate the Blues.
If these people exist they are an extreme minority
Some of us older gits?
