  1. Love the first 2!! would buy both. We already have 3 identical (besides the slight collar changes) shirts. i want something different. These are different enough while still being a bit classical in over all style

    Theres always West Ham

  2. Oh, whilst I've been ranting over here, we seemed to have concluded negotiations for David Silva, so this will probably have an impact on what we will do about Milner.

EDIT: With Valencia I mean, not with the player. With Toure and Silva bids sorted, I imagine that our next priority is to put together a package for Milner so expect a new bid over the next few days. The Sun is already saying that a £25m deal with Milner on £80k a week is done, though I'd take that with a pinch of salt right now.

I knew it along a "Sun reader"

  3. at least with milner we're in the driving seat, unlike with barry where we got screwed over for only £12m. here, if he does go, we will dictate the terms pretty much and get way over his valuation so at least we're not going to get bullied into selling him on the cheap

The £12 million we got for Barry paid for Collins and Dunne, who got screwed?, not us.

  4. bounce? lol..

Are we West Brom now? :detect:

We need a song for Milner. Carew has millions!

how about this, I still think the old Bruce RIoch song would work for Milner,

"Born is the king of Villa Park, Milner , Milner, Milner, Milner, born is the king of Villa Park,

Milner, Milner, Milner, Milner, born is the king of Villa Park"

  5. Anybody remember

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

Oh I do like to be beside the sea

Oh I do like to walk along the prom prom prom

    Where the brass band play

F*ck off west brom and Birmingham

F*ck off West Brom and Birmingham

    and zulus and zulus

Correct but it was much better when it ended,

and Birmingham and Birmingham and Birmingham

and Birmingham and Birmingham and Birmingham

and Birmingham and Birmingham and Birmingham,,,

it used to go on for ever and got louder and louder,

the adding of the lulu`s to it eventually killed off the chant.

  6. As I walked up to the Holte End one bright and sunny day. I spied a poor blose fan he was running far away.

I said to the blose fan it's time for you to die. Because we all areee .......the Holteenders in the sky. Yippeeh aye

aaaayyyy yippeeh aye ooohhhh Holteenders in the sky. Yippeeh aye

aaaaahhhh yippee aye oooohhhhh Holteenders in the sky

Get the original tune back from ghostiders in the sky :D

    "MyLord likes this"

    Get it right then,,

My mate wrote the lyrics to H.E.I.T.S.,in 1970, here they are,

    (the cleaned up version)

As i walked down to Villa Park one dark and dusty day,

I spied a poor city fan a running far away

I said to this poor city fan it looks like you might die

He said i know `cause i`ve just seen Holte Enders in the sky

Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky,

Now he ran down the terraces and then towards the gate

little did he know death was to be his fate

he had one more short hour to live and then he`d hear the cry

that every city fan does fear , Holte Enders in the sky,

Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky,

Their fists where just like granite and their pockets full of lead,

and when they catch a city fan, you know he`ll end up dead

`cause Villa fans rule Birmingham and city fans know why,

the`ve all heard and th`ve all seen Holte Enders in the sky,

Yippee eye aye, Yippee eye ohh, Holte Enders in the sky

  7. Tought you might like this taken from the Generals page from Enda ,

    General,

I am proud that Aston Villa has such an honourable history of showing compassion and a sense of charity to the wider community.

I know of a young man who lives in Birmingham and things have not gone very well for him this past year. I don't want to get into all the details but it really is quite a sad story the way things have turned out. Would it be possible to organise for the first-team to all sign a home shirt and send it to:

    Mr. Craig Gardner

    St. Andrew's Stadium

    Birmingham

    B9 4RL

I'm sure it would do him the world of good.

    Best,

    Enda
