Disappointing. Thought Gabby, Milner and Craig Gardner would get a run out tonight.

yeah got my tickets. hope to see the u21 trio, but no idea who else might be involved. i guess if we make it to the final of the peace cup we won't see the likes of carew, young etc, but maybe some of the youngsters that haven't played so much like bannan maybe.

I love the way people are saying, we need a 20 or even 30 goals a season man. A little reminder for you:

One (1) player scored 20 this year and it was Drogba. Last year it was RVN and Henry, and before that it was Henry and Johnson. And the year before that it was RVN, Henry and Shearer.

So when your asking for those types of players, remember how difficult it is to produce such a tally. And how few players do it on a regular basis. Only RVN, Henry and Shearer springs to mind.

But were not just talking league goals here. Robbie Keane & Berbatov have both scored over 20 goals for spurs in all comps. We should be aiming to get a player who can do that.

Honest to god, was up at Villa Park today getting my West Ham tickets and myself and my m8, saw Matty Taylor of Portsmouth driving out of Villa in his Range Rover, dont be suprised if this is on SSN today because it was him for definite.

This would be a great buy IMO, why else would he be at the Villa!

For what it's worth, Taylor does have a range rover. He lives near me, and my missus knows his wife.
