3 internationals to provide stiff competition to the starters (Tielemans, Zaniolo and Lenglet)

Nearly all of the fringe players shipped out (hopefully Coutinho as well) for large fees leaving plenty of FFP and squad space for January and future windows with the ability to buy back Archer and Ramsey if they really kick on. 

If you’d have told me in may we’d have signed Diaby, tielemans and torres I wouldn’t have believed it. Zaniolo and lenglet are also great additions

I haven’t seen much evidence of him making up stuff, I have seen him call 3/4 signings though including Emery.

If we are to sign a striker, we are leaving it very late.  

Archer benefitted much more from going to Middlesborough last season than he would got in the odd 15/20 minute spell for us. He also had a full pre season with Emery who’s judgement I trust more than anyones on a player. Explain to me how Duran is clearly not up to the task please?
