  1. My wish list, incoming loan, option to buy.

    RW: Maddison, Peterborough.

    DM: Woods, Brentford.

both are kept out of the first XI.

Striker: Fernando Forestieri, SheffieldW, if they need cash. or Abraham, Chelsea

LB: Targett, Southampton or Cresswell, West Ham

    CD: Gary Cahill, Chelsea

This team for me. I'm tired of seeing Kodjias lazy ass walking around the pitch doing absolutely nothing. Tempted to put Green and Thor in there.

Great team! 4-5-2 formation, worth a try.

Boro have Millwall don’t they? Then their last game is against Ipswich.

It’s going to be Boro. I think they just need the win against Ipswich to confirm fifth.

Millwall yes, still a big game.

So Fulham have Birmingham and Sunderland to play in the last few games, both will be scrapping for survival, let’s hope Fulham drop some points there. And Cardiff keep losing.... there’s hope lads! Don’t give up on second yet! :D

IF Cardiff win todays game I hope Fulham win later today, as our hopes of 2nd are gone, and I don't want Fulham in the play offs.

But if Cardiff lose, it gives us a tiny hope. But still not sad if Fulham win.

We need 8 of 12 games to end our way if we are to get second place. 3 wins for us, 2 lost for Fulham and 2 lost and 1 draw for Cardiff.

I wonder, if we had lost to Wolves and smashed QPR if we would be as sure it's over.

As others have said. 7 points, and 3 of them are ours to take leaving 4.. They've got some tough fixtures.

Over? No. Tough? It's the Championship.

Lost to Wolves would be bad, but better than were we are now.

If we lost to wolves we would be seven points behind Cardiff, but with the hope of winning vs qpr and Cardiff dropping points vs Brentford.

Agree its not over, but it takes 8 wins out of 9 for us, or 7 as a minimum if we are lucky.

I saw some statistics somewhere once that the team finishing third in this league rarely get through the play offs and get promoted - it usually is the team finsihing 4th, 5th or 6th ....

No, 3rd wins it ca 34%, avg. is 25%.

nah, Cardiff can easily lose to Wolves and us. We need to win 7 of 9. We have just won 10 out of 12 before today. It's not over. It's a shit night, but it's not over.

7 wins and we are on 90 points, 92 if the other two are draws. But we just lost the easiest game we had left.

Cardiff have to give away points in five of the nine games left. Fulham one point behind us, in great form and don't play a top 9 side for the rest of the season. It's not over, but a Cardiff win on sunday and it is.

Be interesting to see how Fulham have done against the lesser sides.

39 points in  21 games=1,86 points. They take the same number of points against the top/bottom sides.

Cardiff takes 2,2 points vs bottom half sides, we 2,13. This is positive, as Cardiff have four games left vs top teams. Fulham only plays bottom half (below 9th), but they dont do better against them than the best teams.

I think it’s time for a top half v each other league table.  I wonder who might have one.... @BOF

I have a top 9 table, bot don't know how to insert it.. Positions are:

    1. Fulham

    2. Wolves

    3. Cardiff

    4. Aston Villa

5-9. Preston, Bristol City, Derby, M'boro and SheffU.

Unfortunately it has not thus far.

I am surprised they are maintaining such good form.

Yes, let's hope it comes to an end. We can talk about ups and downs in results, difficult games coming, and Cardiff doing better than they should. But they have done great this season, but for four games, and they are front runners. all we can do is winning our games. In our harts I am sure we all belive we will make it!
