  1.

Can he be disciplined after the game?

Hope so. That looks intentional to break a leg

It really isn't though, is it? Watch the way his leg moves, it's a rounded action, he's trying to clear the ball, which he almost does. If you actually watch it, he even gets a piece of the ball. It definitely is not intentional at all. Stop talking shit.

Regardless of whether it's intentional, it's a **** shocker and I'd like him to be banned for the next 8 games.

  2.

There has been a knee jerk and over the top reaction, IMO, of some fans screaming for the manager to go.

We haven't all touched him in a corridor once, Percy.
i met houllier and Mcallister too you know, had different opinions of them. So meeting the bloke has two fifths of feck all to do with it and it is to your discredit that you feel it does to be honest.

As I said I felt the over reaction knee jerk screaming for him to go was wrong and far to premature. I am glad that the las two results have gone our way and that lambert is showing it may be right to have a more long term pragmatic view, in my opinion of course.

Over reaction? We've just won two on the bounce and we're still one place above the relegation zone. That suggests a quite dreadful season so far. I'd say Lambert's got away with it so far. If this was a McLeish side he'd have been hung drawn and quartered by now.

We're closer to the top half than the bottom 3 :)

  3. Only thing I am angry at Lambert about is Bradford. 8-0 was one of those days, but the cup was inexcusable.

However, if he carries on with this rebuilding like he has done then long live him.

Also Paul, if we sell Benteke, go and pick up Vossen and Finnbogossen. Thanks

  4. 10/10 for me today. I play a similar position to him in football so it's been exciting to base my game on him this season. Seems incredibly humble and excited to be here as well.

    Is this Michael Carrick?

I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a Carrick, but Westwood is better ;) . Obviously.

  5. The Bosingwa free-kick was ridiculous. I was sitting in the Doug Ellis and you could see the mark on the turf where Samba had gone over. It was literally about 3 yard's from the touchline. Unbelievable performance.

I sit in Lower Holte and the whole Holte end was going mental at him. How could he get it so wrong so often!?

The blatant handball and the backpass were the worst.

  6. Andy M is right, the moronic element to our support reared its ugly head against Man City, I heard some booing of Clark also. I mean who boos their own player really? Did he deliberately make that mistake, ffs.

There is something to be said for just having the hardcore 30k home support getting behind the team, or the 2-3k that travel regularly to away games.

I heard it too. I turned around and took out my anger on them.

  7. What a nonsense.

We need more experience, not higher earners. Rubbish thread.

Do experienced players at this level come as cheap as the likes of Lowton and Westwood wage wise?

Not the point. The OP is actively calling for high earners regardless of ability which is stupid. I'd rather a Lowton than a Beye.

  8. Gave it to Bennett cause he looked the best of our defence after being a scapegoat for weeks.

Benteke can **** off now if he's going to play like that. Absolute disgrace.

Also, I'm writing this with a completely clear head. Sure, other players didn't perform, but other players didn't get their agent to try and get him a move.
