    Sterling was absolute shit.

    End of

    I agree to a extent.

Got to give him kudos for being in the right place and the right time and for scoring the goals. For this I would have him ahead of Kane at the moment.

What annoys me some what is listening to the pundits who make out he's the English Messi.

Sterling is too selfish for the England team

Yes, Grealish makes that run Sterling does and draws the defenders in, but is aware enough to lay the ball of to Kane before he gets tackled.

What talents we have - Grealish, Mount, Foden, Bellingham, Sancho... all on the bench :(

Love to see a game Southgate's starting 11 against an 11 picked from the remainder of the squad, managed by any 10 year old of your choosing. Know which team my money would be on.  😁

England manager should be a part time job for a full time manager. It ain't that deep, you don't need to travel and watch a billion games of football live.

You are not going to get a top coach in his prime, it's either an old duffer on a come down or a young muppet who can't get a PL gig.

Maybe, but I don't think that's something the club or country would be happy with.

Not sure if it's just occurred as I've gotten older, but the connection between fans and the national team seems to lessen after every major tournament. With every media hype job and then team failure, it gets worse.

If the FA keep Southgate on after the tournament, unless he miraculously turns things around, then I believe that fan relationship will be irreparably damaged; they'd rather have a yes man than a successful one and it'll be clear to everyone.

    Mostly always been the case.

Was interested to see if this was right and apparently he’s on £93.5k per week

    Vinicius Junior salary

Less than Barkley? We can afford that.

The live salary counter on that at the bottom " Since you have been reading this article, Vinicius Junior has earned xxx " made me feel like shite.

    Off to do some work!

EDIT: He earned about 40 euros in the time I wasted to look at the article.

He earned about 120 euros while i was looking at  Maria Julia lower down the page 😉😁😁
