  1. To put it simply, if you are not Indian your chances of getting any kind of work visa at the moment is very slim. We can't bag a visa for a world renowned PhD to come over from Europe but Infosys and TATA have no problem bussing in truckloads of programmers and QA testers from Hyderabad or Mumbai on H1B's whose sole technical experience is using a vending machine, once. The work Visa system is utterly ****.

  2. The weekly poll on 101 Great Goals gave Suarez goal of the week and that Perez volley second place. I was disgusted, the Suarez goal was very good but the Perez goal is easily on of the 5 best volleys I have seen in my life. Training ground practiced corner, outside of the boot, perfect technique and unstoppable from 30 yards.

  3. Not having a go at the lad. Just saying that ,if he is putting in a shift into training, and still not getting into the first team

    ,then obviously that's not enough.

I agree footballers are human beings, but some more professional than others

Disagree, I prefer to see footballers spending their spare time enjoying football, being fans of the sport instead of hanging around clubs and casinos gambling away their earnings and getting blackmailed by scummy birds. A down to earth footballer who enjoys the game has a beer and mixes with supporters is worth ten stuck up clearing in the woods pampering themselves in the Penthouse suite while some scam artist pisses away their life savings by managing their investment portfolios.

Good luck to Bannan, I hope he enjoyed the game and took away some inspiration from Celtics heroic defensive effort and Barca's overturning of the parked bus. If indeed Lambert is using a rotation system he might well be on the team sheet this Saturday.

  4. I'm suspicious of lists of this kind.

How can you really make a judgement unless you've seen them play?

I can quite easily say Puskas was amazing and should be in the list but to be honest I haven't a bloody clue if he was or not.

Agree with this, I have to take my old mans word for it that Gerd Müller was the greatest striker ever as I've never watched him.

  5. ^ ^ The only thing I love more than a cracking goal is some pansy little ponce getting clattered while prancing around with his silky skills by a half-man half-brick of a centre back. Comeuppance almost deserves a thread of it's own

  6. He's the only player we have in the 1st team squad who can beat players , we NEED him to be a success, or buy a replacement.I would prefer the former.

I disagree, Albrighton can beat players as can Gabby.

  7. IMO a pitch of our quality wont have any lasting problems from just a couple of rugby matches, plus we should remember the origins of the club and that the first half of football Aston Villa ever played was rugby code. If Old Trafford is going to host so should Villa Park.

Edit: I forgot to mention: Potential funds for the club for upgrades, increased business for the surrounding area and perhaps people who wouldn't usually go to Villa Park getting a feel for the place and wanting to come back.

  8. Got a bit **** off playing with my 4* Wolfsburg and getting matched up against 5* teams like Chelsea in Seasons so I have made the switch to PSG. Yes I feel a little dirty but it's totally worth it.
