, We look so dangerous but effectively two tap ins we've wasted

Rogers can be a hell of a player if he keeps developing like he has been
-
Anybody other than the CB there then and it's a goal

Sloppy start, the risky passing around the back really worries me - but keeping with it in the second half against Arsenal really won us the game. So I won't judge... But it's so risky

I think a ref would love to send Martinez off in a shootout to get a bit of attention. We'd be so so confident going into one with Emi in net. And the effect on the opponent! They'd feel they were going up against the unbeatable.
Wow, you called last night back in Feb!
Give us the lottery numbers for 3 months time?

Says he was asking for a ball from the ballboy the second time. I find it hard to believe

Was it given as a freekick for the push on Emi? Or did the ref just make him take the ball back for no reason?

Hmm, this isn't looking good. Come on lads, please pull it out the bag

McGinn is more of a worry for me than Cash, he looks miles off it

Rogers could be ideal for this game. Picking up the ball in our half like in the Wolves game and driving us forward

The culture of playing out from the back that he has instilled continues to amaze me.
We have never ever played like that as consistently as we do now.
We've had spells, but as soon as we're under the cosh it goes out the window.
Yesterday we just point blank refused to stray away from that tactic of playing out from the back. Under huge pressure at times, we stuck to it rigidly and it paid off massively.
Players like Pau, Tielemans and Martinez are key to that.Yeah balls of steel to stick with it after Half Time. I've wanted us to play like that for years, but after the first half yesterday I thought we needed to change it, we were constantly pegged back, we looked like a catastrophic error could happen at any minute.
Then after half time, we just carried on, but with more focus, more confidence and looked a different team despite continuing to play the same way.
Emery is a genius

Last outright winner: Tom Waring 1930/31 with 49 Goals

- Andy Gray 1976/77 (25, w/ Arsenals Malcolm Macdonald)
