Holy crap

Jesus christ

Was it given as a freekick for the push on Emi? Or did the ref just make him take the ball back for no reason?
-
Hmm, this isn't looking good. Come on lads, please pull it out the bag

What the actual **** is this referee on

McGinn is more of a worry for me than Cash, he looks miles off it

Rogers could be ideal for this game. Picking up the ball in our half like in the Wolves game and driving us forward

The culture of playing out from the back that he has instilled continues to amaze me.
We have never ever played like that as consistently as we do now.
We've had spells, but as soon as we're under the cosh it goes out the window.
Yesterday we just point blank refused to stray away from that tactic of playing out from the back. Under huge pressure at times, we stuck to it rigidly and it paid off massively.
Players like Pau, Tielemans and Martinez are key to that.Yeah balls of steel to stick with it after Half Time. I've wanted us to play like that for years, but after the first half yesterday I thought we needed to change it, we were constantly pegged back, we looked like a catastrophic error could happen at any minute.
Then after half time, we just carried on, but with more focus, more confidence and looked a different team despite continuing to play the same way.
Emery is a genius

When is the last time a Villa player won the Golden Boot?
Nevermind, just found it. Ollie has a chance to do something that has only happened at this club once in the last 123 years and outright win the Top Flight Golden Boot.
Last joint winner: Peter Withe 1980/81 with 20 Goals (same as Spurs' Steve Archibald)
Last outright winner: Tom Waring 1930/31 with 49 Goals
Full List
- Peter Withe 1980/81 (20, w/ Spurs' Steve Archibald)
- Andy Gray 1976/77 (25, w/ Arsenals Malcolm Macdonald)
- Tom Waring 1930/31 - 49 Goals
- Harry Hampton 1911/12 (25, 3-way tie w/ David McClean from Sheff Weds & George Holley Sunderland)
- Billy Garraty 1899/00 - 27 Goals
- Fred Wheldon 1897/98 - 21 Goals
- John J. Campbell 1895/96 (20, w/ Derby's Steve Bloomer)

We have such a huge opportunity the next 13 days.
European Semi Final and 9 Points clear in 4th place awaits..with our only competition needing to win their 3 games in hand to just equal us: Vs Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool...
We have to take the chance

That's only the second game Arsenal have lost at home in the league all season. And we'll be the only team to do the league double over them this season. It's impressive against any Arsenal side but this version of Arsenal is the best we've seen in probably a decade, so even more so

Unai is incredible
Zaniolo MOTM for me but could have been one of many, Carlos I assume wins it, was a mountain today
Carlos, Emi and McGinn all with claims. Rogers very good too.
Ref was OK
-
No Dougie
No Kamara
No Ramsey
No Mings
No Buendia
No problem. Double over Arsenal without our first choice midfield. The guy is simply incredible. A complete mastermind.
How **** ing lucky we are.

Rogers for Tim? What’s the play here?
I'd assume Duran for him and 2 up top. But I think that's a risk
-
Moreno & Martinelli both into LW positions, imagine both managers think a quick break is what wins the game here.
