They are doing well, but in all honesty it feels like us under O’Neill and Lerner, takeover, new manager, winning games is infectious when you have the fans onside feeling good
I doubt they will achieve top 4 this season, small squad and almiron will go back to form and be shite soon enough, this form will not last

Remember that like it was yesterday. We were laying the smack down with a young Bannan and Hogg in midfield. Didn't matter, you knew what was going to happen as soon as Macheda came on
I was in the holte, it was the days early kick off and bloody freezing iirc, the eruption when albrighton run through and scored
Macheda goal took a massive deflection too, I knew when that hit the net we wouldn’t win

Is it going to happen? I don't think I was alive the last time we beat these at VP. We've been 2 up here before so I'll wait 80 minutes before I start to believe.
The houllier season, young penalty and Albrighton put us 2 up with about 10 minutes left, macheda came on and scored, then vidic, we ended up being lucky to get a point
Then there’s the Hernandez hat trick game

4 players on loan playing and doing well for them today, in fairness they’ve played the market well given how broke they are
scummy bastards

Strong rumours that hulkenberg will replace Schumacher at haas next year

What’s the point of f1 designing cars to follow each other with aero if the tyres are too durable between the compounds

I wonder if people at Red Bull HQ are concerned about the F1 team?
Max is supremely talented but not a very likeable person. Horner generally considered a prick by most people. 2 World titles but clouds now over both of them.
Caught cheating but Horner comes out fighting saying they deserve an apology which will get many backs up.
Is there a risk cheating, and being disliked will become synonymous with the brand?
Max is refusing to do interviews with sky, across the uk, German and Italian tv companies over ted kravitz asking him if he feels the drivers titles he won are tainted by the overspending

Courtney sweetman kirk who did our game yesterday is literally the worst pundit ive ever heard. The most biased and literally clueless commentary was ridiculous
The part of the game where she was trying to find a penalty for them befor ethe actual handball was laughable.
Noy doing themselves any favours with womens punditry with clowns like this
I wondered who she was, I mentioned it in the match thread
About 10 minutes in luiz made a few one twos with our defence and broke out, she berated him, said it was stupid and Newcastle were unlucky not to punish us, botman did the same with pope a few minutes later and he was prime beckenbauer
And not to forget the dick head who was alongside her with his comments
"The good times are back for Newcastle and here to stay" "it's a full house at st james park, but it's not surprising as it's Newcastle"

We've not won in this stadium since 2005.
Let that sink in.
More wins at old Trafford since then

Who's doing the comms on the premier League coverage, it's like we're playing the Harlem Globetrotters the rimming Newcastle are getting

Is that a joke or for real?
They have literally signed a agreement admitting they cheated.
Well.....I suppose technically they signed a document admitting they overspent, maybe they don't see that as cheating, it's just a £1.8m overspend on sandwiches after all........
For real

Really good program called premier League stories on now, featuring Joey gudjohnson, talks about coaching he's own children in Iceland

Sky look like they are presenting from a broom cupboard at small heath tonight

Horner was asked if he felt the team needed to apologise to the rest of the grid for the overspend
He said he expects teams to apologise to red bull instead for accusing them of cheating.

Understand your views on the first but he walked the second one, no-one else is close.
Nah, the money overspent contributed to this year's car too. I'm sure the whole field would be a lot closer is they too have overspent like red bull have

I for one am shocked.
Max with 2 world titles and needed the fia to win both. Disgusting but not surprising

Miserable bastard. Gets a dream gig being paid to watch and talk about football and he sounds like he'd rather be at home feeding millet to he's pigeons.

Might just be me getting old, but I see the term "double pivot" in football and I haven't got a clue.

Strange to see sainz retire after that

I remember the last time we had an amazing result a caretaker manager, beating West ham 3-0 under Kevin MacDonald, everything looked rosy... I wonder who we played next after that match and what the result was

Such a shame that it’s taken until the end of season for Mercedes to battle at the front and give us some decent racing
Overall it’s been a dreadful season of a sporting spectacle, especially when it’s been contrived so red bull win
