"advanced with approaches" but "concrete offer yet to be made".

So basically nothing has happened at all!?!? :P

Just putting "the finishing touches" to the deal before "slapping in a bid"

Even allowing for the occasions when we have a change in manufacturer or change in sponsor,  we are always late.

It is a very valid question and I've not heard a valid reason why.

The valid reason is those reasons though, we get x amount of pounds to have shorts made by one company and x amount of pounds or having a logo from a sponsor on the front

In the last 20 years we've changed kit supplier from diadora, Hummel, Nike, macron, under armour, Luke, kappa and now castore

In those years off the top of my head out sponsors have been rover, 32red on two different occasions, dafabet, acorns, QuickBooks, w88, cazoo, and our sponsor is changing again next season

It's frustrating I agree but the reason is we don't have continuity between kit maker and kit sponsor so it won't happen until we do

“I’m shit and should have never taken the job”?

Did you see the BT sport interview when he answered what happened and he "it's basically career suicide"

But £500k for taking the job on

2011, Swansea QPR and Norwich stayed up

Also just read that 2018 Newcastle Huddersfield and Brighton did it

reporter - "what are the strengths of these players?"

Allardyce - "i dont really know to be honest - i will find out at the end of today after a training session".

this isnt a joke, he actually said this.

I burst out laughing at the reporter who said something like"did you ever imagine you'd have the chance with a big premier League club"

I was at that game. We were sat low in the Trinity by the corner with the Holte and basically saw sod all. It was like all the action in the game happened at exactly the wrong angle to see anything.

I was wearing the white Hummel shirt we had, and to get the day off a great start had a burger from a van on the way to Villa Park, squirted some tomato sauce on it and ended up with sauce completely missing the burger and hitting my shirt perfectly dead centre. So I had to wear a hoodie over it anyway. I may as well have not bothered.

I remember buying that shirt on the day it was released for £25 in sports direct, so cheap considering the costs now

This beauty for me from The Prem era.

Obscure fact, the first premier League goal scored using that ball was by the late Peter whittingham in our 3-0 win against Portsmouth at villa park

We were the early kick off this first time the ball was used, had a season ticket at the time

First thing i did was mute the commentators.

    Can't stand him or Townsend.

At one point i thought the pair of them were going to harmonise ferry across the Mersey and talk about their favourite episodes of the sitcom bread

  10. I don’t don’t think dean saunders is massively up to date with the Croatian team today given he’s half time summary on talkshite

“Canada we’re well in it, then those 3 central midfielders for Croatia really changed it, with modric and….. especially modric”

Played 1 game this season and I don't think that was 90 minutes.

    As many as that?

slightly off topic but it’s strange how Madrid treated bale given the goals in champions league finals but hazard hasn’t kicked a ball for them in 4 seasons gets nothing

    Post update

    Senegal 0-0 Netherlands

The official attendance has just been announced as 41,721. That's interesting because it's 1,700 above capacity!

The ground looks only about three-quarters full.

Must be including the bodies of those who died building the stadium

Blatter wanting more world cups in Asia, South America and Africa, and Infantino carrying that on is purely for one reason only. Profit whilst looking like it cares. It's a con job. Honestly, I feel for any Africa nation that wants the world cup. It'll cripple them.

A vile corrupt mafioso of an organisation.

Pretty sure South Africa ended up demolishing some stadiums after the 2010 World Cup as they could find no use of tenants, and it was cheaper to demolish than up keep

Because the pricing is all set by FIFA as the countries HAVE to use FIFA certified sellers. Same with Olympics. Andrew Jennings's 2 books on FIFA are real eye openers. It's the same with the infrastructure. They have a list of companies the hosting nations have to use and, get this, the host nations pay all the costs, but FIFA take a huge cut of profits. They also have to sign contracts basically disolving any immigration, healthy and safety and migrant worker laws for workers, and of course FIFA and the companies used are fully exhonerated in any workers deaths etc. It's a full on mafia racket.

Its alos why I'll be amazed if we ever hold a world cup again. Our infrastructure is far too good for FIFA to make money off. The building and infrastructure are massive cash cows for FIFA.

Am I right in thinking fifa also demand merchandise food, drink are all tax free, fifa receives every penny?

  17. Just catching up on the race

max has actually not crashed into anyone this season, he has changed after winning world titles, no more late lunges amd dangerous driving

then he sees Hamilton in front, and he becomes a dick head again
