  1. Nothing strongly suggests Samatta will cut the mustard at this level, he's a big unknown, we also lack quality in midfield to create chances, our wide options are **** terrible. Can't see anything other than relegation.

Further to my other post this what I disagree with, short termism under the last regime is what's killed the new one

This is RDM / Bruce / xias fault

We signed players who aren't premier league quality as things stand, just poor, take the point that short-termism has cost us but so has our recruitment this season.

    Smith out!

I've criticised Smith at times but today the intensity, effort and attitude has been spot on. The problem is quality, the lack quality at the back which enabled Deeney to get a free header with three of our players in the box, the quality in midfield is shite, no final ball, almost all deliveries into the box utter shite and of course, no striker.

I don't blame Smith for this, I blame Suso, we've signed an expensive load of **** shite.

Hitting a cross into the knee of the first defender, not once, but TWICE in the space of 3 seconds.Impressive.

Yes but we'd be winning if we had a striker on the pitch? Not that simple, need better quality into the box in the first place.

How is bad to lose to team that's only lost once in last 8 games away to Liverpool conceding total of 4 goals? Please explain this to me

You like to explain away why we shouldn't be winning any game to be honest, pretty much every week there's a post like this. At some stage we have to get some good results that we might not expect to, it's as simple as that, that is of course if we want to stay up.

Isn't that just about a fairly basic salary in thailand? Minimum wage is 330 baht per day which is about £8.30 so if people are being offered £2.49 p/h it seems that they would be much better off than a job on the minimum. Anyone getting paid £2.49 per hour would be on 17,150 baht per month if they worked a 40 hour week

A police officer only gets 14750 baht per month, a teacher gets around 30,000.

Seems the story is "man offers reasonably well paid jobs"

That's pretty much the takeaway unless your issue is with the concept and practice of outsourcing in the first place but that probably takes you down the British jobs for British workers or MAGA routes...

I’m not too optimistic because 1) I’m a villa fan and therefore not programmed that way and 2) we haven’t exactly had resounding success from the Belgian league.

That being said, I do love the guy. I hope he does well as he will be a massive fan favourite and I’m enjoying having all of Tanzania supporting us.

For me that's not the case on here for the majority. There seemed to be almost an overwhelming amount of excitement last summer and the same was the case in 2015. These experiences have made me a lot more cautious given the sheer number of players in those windows who have disappointed.
