He did OK but still has a way to go. You can see the sort of player he will be when he's up to speed though, I do like how quickly he moves the ball a proper 1-2 touch player.

There are fans who seem to be more preoccupied with fishing out old posts rather than just posting about the performance or what Smith did, very bizarre and small minded. Bottom line is that Smith did very well today and got a great three points out of a limited side lacking quality in attacking areas. We should all be very happy.

Really hoping we can pull a winger out the bag this window, Trez and El Ghazi aren't good enough.

Couldn't work out whether Mings got a touch to it in fairness but good strike nevertheless
