    When Lambert told Bennett to stick to Valencia, he did'nt mean the Valencia in Spain,cuz that's about as far away as he has been from him all game so far.

    Our ball retention is shocking. One thing you must do is pass the ball better. They are all professionals .Not one of our players have got anywhere near Rooney. Damage is done already. Utd don't even need to get out of first gear. Second half is damage limitation for us now.

    Rooney's not even playing as a striker,he's playing in midfield. We have two central defenders trying to pick up one striker & neither have a clue where he was. poor defending whichever way you look at it. does'nt take a genious to work out that Bennett is the weak link.

    I know its a gamble but i'd like to see Carruthers on in centre Midfield. Were having plenty of good possesion but wasting it at times. He's a good player who knows when give or go.

    We need to get back to retaining possesion agen, we dont have to rush trying to get forward just be patient, something we struggle to do.

    Don't worry, I for one will remember the sitter Bannan missed from 6 yards. At least Bannan was in the right position to miss? I don't remember many of our other midfielders gambling on getting forward to score?

    Gabby needs to get in the six yard box more often thats where the chances are going to fall. Just needs to gamble a bit more & find the spaces. Good half,more neat tidy ball retention like we saw in the move for the goal & we can take the points here.

    Why do we persist in only looking for Benteke with free kicks,its too predictable. Would'nt it be a nice change to play the ball into a different player. You don't need to be big to win the ball. Reading are wise to it & doubling up on Benteke so we need to mix it up a bit & use some imagination.

    Long ball up to benteke, thats all we've got. We seem incapable of playing basic passing Football. what's wrong with giving our subs a go. can't do any worse than the rest of em.

    Lambert is to blame for tonights result, he got the tactics all wrong for this game. Newcastle play Cisse up front, so we play a 5 at the back where the width is supposed to come from our full backs who spent most of the time defending. We needed to play wide & get Nzogbia & Gabby to stretch them in order to get decent service to Bent & Benteke. Play 442 which every pro footballer can play.
