Anyone present at the Swansea home game last season knows that the Swansea way is leaps and bounds above our variation of hoofball.

Struggling to see how with all this circus being played out in front of the media, we're now expected to be able to pop over and offer the job to Lambert, as though he'll be so delighted that he agrees to join us. I don't think anyone could ever accuse RL of being unfair, disloyal or unprofessional, but he's certainly coming out of all this looking naive and out of his depth. Whether it was all just conjecture or not regarding OGS, the people in charge should never have allowed for the club to be belittled in such a way, especially after last year. The thing is, even though we could argue that Villa have made no statements regarding us going after Solskjaer and that it's not their fault that all this has got out of hand, it's another PR disaster. The thing should have been way better covered up, again the fear is we'll miss out on other decent candidates because of this farce and be forced to settle for someone way down the list. This is all just conjecture but you have to say if it's confirmed, it stinks of incompetence of the highest order.
