It's insane isn't it, we're getting a proven premier League player with great attacking output in previous seasons, a French international with nearly 50 caps and people still aren't happy

Imagine if you told a villa fan 2 years ago, they'd be signing Coutinho on loan, would have been locked up and deemed crazy, no chance...

Having Gerrard as manager is the real pull here, never had signed him under smith

Last year we were getting Barkley on loan and now we could be getting Coutinho, that's a massive step up
